After passing Judgment on those who have rejected the knowledge of the truth of Christ, the judgment turns to the church at Rome who are also without excuse. They are without excuse for passing judgment while committing the same vile acts as the unbelievers. Yet their lack of an excuse is worse, because they knew not just God but the goodness of God.
A stark reminder for the church.
The case against sinful mankind is demonstrated by Paul. God has clearly and plainly made the truth of His character and power obvious to man, but man has proven their unrighteousness and need of Savior by their resistance and rejection of the very God that has reached out in love. The results are a prison of man's own choosing, and de-evolution as God hands them over to the the consequences of their own choices.
Continuing our verse by verse journey through the book of Romans we find that Paul had an eagerness and readiness to preach the gospel. Despite the reason he could have been ashamed of a lowly rag tag religion founded upon the death and resurrection of a humble son of a carpenter, Paul was certainly not ashamed and excited to share the gospel with people in the mighty city of Rome.
We too like Paul may find reasons to be ashamed, as we are flawed and not always the Christians or church we aught to be.
Regardless we too like Paul must ask God to give us a zeal and readiness to share the Gospel wherever we go.
In this message we share 4 reasons found in this passage, for why we should never be ashamed of the Gospel.
The Road through Romans Introduction begins our series preaching through the book of Romans.
The Christian Constitution, Romans encourages believes with Hope and the truth of being loved by a God who made a way of salvation for those who had no way.
In this introduction we not only talk about the purpose of Romans but share the first several verses where Paul introduces himself and shares his passion for the people at the church in Rome.
In this example we find several actions of Paul that we can mimic today in reaching people for Christ.
Suffering is real, it happens to everyone.
But Why does God allow suffering?
Is there a purpose to our suffering and pain?
And if God is real, and powerful, and loving, why does He not do something about it.
Find out in this message of hope and promise.
The Easter Story is one of hope and victory.
The Risen Messiah is proof of victory of death, the grave, and sin.

The Crowds were there were not so different than the crowds that live in the world today. Which group best represents where you are in your relationship to the King?
Continuing the thought from I Kings 18, where Israel had gone through a severe drought of 3.5 years because of sin. They repented at Mt. Carmel and God and Elijah prayed for God to send rain. Just like we must repent and ask God to send the rain of His presence and blessings on our lives and church.
This week we focus on a message of Vision and Hope as we ask God to bless our church and use us in His plan.
A Message of Hope and Vision as we recount the story of Elijah, when he prayed for God to send rain on a land that had been in a drought for 3.5 years.
The conclussion of our study in I John ends with Last of Johns list of truths we can know without a doubt. While this is by no means a conclusive list it is a core list of fundamentals important to our faith:
1. The Bible is absolutely true
2. Jesus is the Son of God
3. Believers (as the Children of God) have eternal life
4. God hears our prayers.
And now 5th - While children of God do still sin, We do not keep on Sinning.
