What is the significance of leaven and honey in our spiritual walk with the Lord? In Leviticus, God instructed the priests that no grain offering should contain leaven or honey. Why? Because leaven represents sin, pride, and hypocrisy, while honey represents natural sweetness,human affections and preferences that corrupt the purity of Christ’s offering.

Why does God allow us to go through fiery trials? Because we are being perfected and conformed into the image of His Son. Just as Jesus was tested by the devil, by religious leaders, and by the Roman governor Pilate, He overcame every situation not as God, but as a MAN. In doing so, He became the qualified King to sit on God’s throne.

We all desire to serve the living God but how we serve Him matters deeply.
