There will be a Prescott Hazardous Waste Collection event for residents from March 7th – 25th to allow the community the opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted household hazardous items. Prescott Hazardous Waste Collection - Acceptable Materials Materials accepted include, but are not limited to, insecticides, pesticides, gasoline, car batteries, drain and oven cleaners, bleaches, CFL and Fluorescent Light bulbs (unbroken), oil (5-gallon limit) and latex paint (20- gallon limit), stain thinners, sealers, adhesives, non-alkaline batteries, and old mercury thermometers.
