The Movement Studio in Prescott Valley is launching their 2nd Annual Summit for HUSD. This event is a self-lead hike/bike/walk/jog with proceeds going to the Humboldt Education Foundation (HEF). HEF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) foundation with a mission to support the students and teachers of the Humboldt Unified School District. Last year this event raised 21, which was used to help fund teacher mini-grants and student scholarships. HEF provides quarterly teacher grants throughout the school year and awards student scholarships to 2 graduating Bradshaw Mountain High School Seniors each May.
