I have a crown installed today by my dentist. Rather than sliding rapidly in anxiety as the dentist is drilling and grinding, I listen to music on my earbuds, close my eyes and focus on my breath. This simple mindful practice makes all of the difference for me.

I drove my 15 yr old daughter home from a friend's house and we talked for a bit. Nothing major - just a nice moment of unexpected connection.
