Presence Pioneers: A Worship, Prayer and Revival Podcast

If you sometimes find prayer HARD or BORING, this is the episode for you. Special guest host Jonathan Friz interviews Matthew Lilley about his new book, Enjoying Prayer.

Get the paperback, e-book or audiobook at http://enjoyingprayer.com

About the Enjoying Prayer book:

The prophet Isaiah makes a stunning claim that God’s people can find joy in His house of prayer. Yet for many Christians, their experience of prayer is not joy but boredom or frustration. Where is the disconnect? God’s promise of joyful prayer can easily be hijacked by common hindrances such as a wrong view of God, a lack of identity, religiosity, the busyness of life and isolation from Christian community. Enjoying Prayer exposes these hindrances and provides a biblical roadmap for a thriving prayer life. Through keys such as intimacy with God, a foundation of worship, and a praying community, you can begin to enter into the joyful prayer that is promised to every believer. It’s time to start enjoying prayer!

All across the earth, God is raising up communities that are gathering for hours and hours of prayer meetings every week. Why is this happening? And what does it have to do with you? Brad Stroup, the founder of the Prayer Room DFW, returns to the podcast to share an update about the "house of prayer" phenomenon that is happening around the world in the 21st century.

Matthew Lilley interviews Brad about his own journey as a leader, and they discuss a recent house of prayer summit that took place in Dallas. What was God speaking at that gathering? What is the status of the house of prayer movement in the United States? And how does an everyday Christian participate in this exciting move of God? Learn all that and more in this episode. Matthew Lilley here! I'm gently re-activating my personal podcast. As I occasionally travel to teach, I'll be releasing the recordings through the podcast.

A few things....

1. I've changed the podcast name from "Presence Pioneers" to "Presence Pioneer" (no "s" on the end of pioneer) since the focus will be on sharing my teachings, not interviews.
2. These will not be released with any regularity. If I go somewhere to teach, and they can get me the recording, then I'll share it with you.
3. The audio quality may be much more inconsistent than previous PP podcast episodes. This is because I'm uploading the raw recordings without really editing them. In previous years, we had invested a good amount of money to produce the podcast with high quality audio.
4. These will also be released on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/@PresencePioneerPodcast
