When we are suffering, we can be tempted to the darkness of despair.  Sometimes our faith is tested and challenged, and it is the Holy Spirit who can bring the light of truth to this dark time.

In this, the second episode of this series on the Holy Spirit, Eileen discusses why it was beneficial to us that Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit after he went away. The way that the Holy Spirit is able to be with us since Pentecost is different from the way the Spirit aided the prophets of the Old Testament. Now He indwells us and is always with us, reminding us about the glory that awaits us beyond this valley of tears.

Why is the Holy Spirit called the Breath of Heaven?
What role does the Holy Spirit play in our suffering?
How does He hold us together when we feel like we are shattered from the grief and pain of losing our child?

In this episode, Eileen talks about the Holy Spirit as the Ruach that was hovering over the waters in the beginning of Genesis, how He was breathed on the disciples by Jesus, and how we now receive His indwelling during our Confirmation and the gifts we need to enable us to carry out the calling that God has for each one of us to make us like Jesus, even when we are brought through the Way of the Cross.

In this, the last episode of the series, Eileen discusses the seventh sword of sorrow - the burial of Jesus. She discusses how the burial of her own daughter created an emptiness, or an "undoing" in her, but that this provided an opportunity for her to join with Mary's Fiat and Jesus' prayer in Gethsemane, offering "whatever God wants."
