>all mixes in the [void] series are raw recordings of improvised creative mixing process with up to 4 simultaneously running decks, a process that seems to mangle and warp its' building blocks, sometimes beyond recognition, creating something new. at times, it's chaotic, beautiful, and/or both.

note that recordings include the cue monitor channel, what you hear is what I hear when mixing, including all the cut up mess and garbage, many of the tunes seeing DJ software for the first time on my machine, it will not always be easy, but hold on tight and the journey might be worth it.

Another improv mashup that seems to work surprisingly well. This is the first draft.

Lyrics:

You say you're going through changes

Every day it seems your life is up and down

And you say that you're lookin' for an answer

Everywhere you look it seems it can't be found

Like searchin', tryin' to find the rainbow

No one's ever found it, yet it's told to be

But if you're lookin' for a lover

Everything you need, you can find right here with me

I've got the Midas Touch

Everything I touch turns to gold, oh, sugar

I've got the Midas Touch

Baby, let me touch your body and your soul

Now you've been trapped by love

Someone takes your heart and then says goodbye

So you say that you'll never love another

Tired of playin' games and that's the reason why

But now whenever we're together

There's a certain feelin' there, we both agree

And it's time that you've opened up to love

'Cause if you don't ever try, then baby, you may never see

I've got the Midas Touch

Everything I touch turns to gold, yeah, darlin'

I've got the Midas Touch

Baby, let me touch your body and your soul, whoa

Together you and I were meant to be

I'll be right beside whenever you need me

This love we have will never fade away

You can count on me 'cause I'm here to stay

I've got the Midas Touch

Everything I touch turns to gold, yeah, darlin'

I've got the Midas Touch

Baby, let me touch your body and your soul

(Won't you do that for me)

I've got the Midas Touch

Everything I touch turns to gold, oh, sugar

I've got the Midas Touch

Baby, let me touch your body and your soul, whoa

Touch-touch

Touch-touch

Touch-touch

The Midas touch-touch-touch-touch

Touch-touch

Touch-touch

Touch-touch

Touch-touch

Touch-touch

Touch-touch

Oh, oh, oh, oh

Together you and I were meant to be

I'll be right beside you whenever you need me

This love we have will never fade away

You can count on me 'cause I'm here to stay

I've got the Midas Touch

Everything I touch turns to gold, it's all in my hands

I've got the Midas Touch

Baby, let me touch your body and your soul

(Won't you let, let you, baby)

Making this public despite not "finishing" it. Sorry about that.

Originally planned to play it at Fusion Culture's Desert Bass earlier this year.

"When the last twenty-four hours started, the lonely gamer wasn't of course aware of the sad news yet. Waking up after all night and finally getting online, the strange disease he felt watching the news wasn't exactly what he expected. Closing the browser after reading the announcement of the end of the world tonight, our kind hero of the story came to life, as the sound suddenly seemed to grow up from nowhere."

WIll probably (lol) be re-recorded because the bass mix seems to be lacking.

Coagulation ♉︎

The substance is crystalized into a solid state.

Here, there is the meeting between matter and spirit, inner and outer, good and evil, the union of dualities. It is at this stage where the spirit has become self aware - it perceives itself, and it sees and understands that the inner world and the outer world are not different, but reflections of each other.
