Sometimes all you have is yourself. Especially in your own mind.
Today we talk about why it's important that your voice is loudest over all the noise, information and day to day schedules. Even your own voice if it's not serving you, since we all know we can be the most hardest on ourselves.
Once your voice can be heard it's even more crucial that in the hardest times, you can be the one to coach yourself back into a place of strength and motivation.
Join us as we share how we do this for ourselves and what we have learned along the way.

Intuitive, soul care alignment, which we also call self care is a home that we build. It needs a strong, balanced foundation to hold the home and life needed to live in it.
Today we talk all about the four pillars of self care, how to be aware of them so you can really get security, stability and balance from your self care, and also know that if something not quite right you can refer back to anyone of them.
The four pillars are:
Join as we revisit what we felt was an important topic. One we have done before yet felt it was needed to revisit. We hope you enjoy exploring these pillars with us, may it give you a greater understanding around the layers of what it takes to look after you.

Protein is something we hear a lot about, but what actually is protein, why do we need it, and why does it become even more important as we get older?
In this episode, we chat about what protein is and why it is one of the essential building blocks our bodies need.
We look at the reasons why protein is important for muscle, strength, recovery, repair and maintaining our bodies as we age.
We also talk about why getting enough protein becomes particularly important as we get older, when we naturally start to lose muscle mass and maintaining strength becomes increasingly important.
We discuss how much protein we should generally be aiming for each day, different sources of protein including both animal and plant-based options, and simple ways to include more protein in your everyday meals.
Most importantly, we encourage you to take a look at your own diet and ask yourself — are you getting enough protein?

The power of taking responsibility isn't spoken about enough.
Knowing that you sometimes may not have all the information, and asking what you may have contributed, is an important thought process to be able to create if you really care about yourself and others.
We give our power away when we allow others to be the reason why we feel how we feel, instead of accepting that we are the one in control of our emotions and experiences. Sometimes it takes the experience of blaming others before you realise it can be a silent merry go round of resentment.
Once you take full responsibility for your experiences, you can learn the lessons, control your outcomes to unfold the way you truly want, and if not, see them with a different perspective.
Most importantly, learn not to blame yourself. Remember you did the best you could at the time, with the information that you had.

In this episode, we chat with Dr Hayley Squance, author, speaker and emergency management specialist, about her beautiful children’s book Stargazer — inspired by a real blind ostrich she cared for many years ago.
Hayley holds a PhD in Emergency Management and has worked across veterinary emergency and critical care, university education, and emergency management in New Zealand and internationally. Through her experiences, she has developed a deep interest in how we navigate change and uncertainty, why slowing down matters, and how much we can notice when we become truly present to what is happening around us.
Her book Stargazer has evolved into so much more than a children’s story. It carries a powerful message about awareness, slowing down, seeing things differently and recognising the connections around us.
Through Hayley’s own life experiences, we explore what we might be missing when we rush through life and how pausing, paying attention and becoming more aware can open us up to a whole new way of experiencing the world.
A beautiful reminder that sometimes we don’t need to do more — we simply need to pause and notice.
Because perhaps there is much more happening around us than we realise.
Follow the full journey and be the first to know when the book is launched.

In this episode, we talk about the importance of creating healthy work ethics and boundaries, especially when life and work can easily blur together.
We explore the importance of finding balance and creating space for the things that truly matter — not just work, but relationships, rest, family, personal time and the things that bring us joy.
We discuss how setting healthy boundaries helps us stay more aware and present in the moment, rather than constantly feeling like we should be doing something else. This is particularly important when working from home, where the lines between business and personal life can become blurred and the constant juggle can leave us feeling mentally and physically drained.
When we become more aware of how we are spending our time, what we are prioritising and where we need boundaries, we can protect our mental and physical wellbeing and create more space to actually live the life we want — not just work through it.
