At long last, our The Little Things episode. God, what a letdown this movie is. While we all have different reasons for not liking it, we can all agree that this movie had a lot more potential and didn't even come close to living up to what it could have been.

Let's get this out the way first. Matt has NEVER seen Lord of the Rings properly. After a failed attempt at getting him to watch the extended cuts of the movies two years ago, he fell asleep countless times and ultimately never finished the movies. He always claimed the time would come when he would revisit them. And what do you know, COVID causing theaters to all but shut down while re-releasing older movies into IMAX may have FINALLY given him the push he needed.

Keep in mind, this is a spoiler filled discussion of The Fellowship of the Ring. We are however, avoiding spoilers of the other two films for now!

-Wow these movies haven't aged a day. The 4k IMAX release looks better than ever.

-Somehow, Viggo Mortenson is 60 years old now.

High Life is directed by Claire Denis and stars Robert Pattinson as Monte, a convicted murderer on death row being sent with fellow criminals to a black hole off in space.

This movie was certainly not what any of us were expecting, and that almost makes it all the more exciting to talk about. Including:

This week, we're on Bailey's scifi movie pick 'Twelve Monkeys', which ends up being a weird time travel movie that has less to do with actual monkeys, and more to do with a grim pandemic riddled future that (hopefully) isn't a sign of things to come in our own post-covid world.
