Hey Listeners!
This weeks episode we talk about the NBC streaming service coming July 15th called "Peacock" a huge streaming service that will have more than just NBCUNIVERSAL content! Another overwhelming service we are excited to check out.
New Zealand is back in the news for us as more productions from many TV and Movies are heading over to continue filming, This is in light to the amazing work the country has done to combat the Coronavirus.
After the break we review the movie "The Hunt" a funny horror movie with political satire. The film really focus on the stereotypes both political parties put out and teaches you, theres something much deeper in us than who we vote for.
We added a new Member to the family; A fluffy, lazy and lovable dog name Frosty that Augie found along his jogging route. We talk about what we are doing to find his home before we decide to adopt him.

This also comes down to non-black voice actors stepping down from playing black or POC characters. We'll discuss how we feel about that!
Margot Robbie is set to play the lead in the a film under the "Pirates of the Caribbean" Moniker, in which we are excited for. We talk about the double standard movie fans have when a female lead film flops and crickets when a male lead movie flops.
Love, Victor is a Hulu original series that we we waiting for eagerly. A rich cast, a story that is relatable and hits close to home. Come and have a listen as we breakdown and review the spin0off series to the "Love, Simon" movie.

Glad you all are here to listen to Episode 39 of our show!
We break the news with UK giving the thumbs up to allow TV and Movie production to resume since the lockdown in March. They must follow certain protocols and regulations approved by the the health and British government. Some movies includes "The Little Mermaid", "The Batman" and "Fantastic Beast" Speaking of the latter one, we discuss what we think of J.K.Rowling anti-trans comment and what we can only do from here on out.
Marvel Disney + shows Like Wandavision are also retuning for some additional filming and reshoots. The show premier date is still the same. We talk about Evan Peters "Key Role" for Wandavision. Will it be Quicksilver? or a new role for him? we shall see. Next Month all eyes are on Christopher Nolan "Tenet" movie. With a projection of having 90% theaters opening up world wide and social distancing not going away, Can the movie be a box office success?
After the break we review X-Men: Apocalypse. The movie that was fairly good but left didnt address any set up from the previous movie and sets up arcs for the next movie that was also not address. The lack of Mystique, Jubilee and more had us asking for more authenticity.

New Zealand has become a praised and respected country for handling the Covid-19 pandemic. With zero new cases in a very long time, they have resume film and t.v production in the country; find out which 2 movies are currently filming there.
We have been keeping busy during the Coronavirus. The powerdrill we ordered arrived and season 2 of "Dead to Me" has helped us a lot too.
New Mutants has been dangling in front of our faces for EVER, which is rude. For a sweet 2 days it was available for purchase on Amazon. We'll let you what we thought about that hopeful released. Speaking of mutants, We recently watched X-Men: First Class. We generally liked the movie but it had a pattern of putting women in the backseat and fills it with disposable mutants with big potentials.

After 4 months of having a broken television we decided to buy a new one. Rizz sugguested the perfect movie to christen our new bundle of joy! The Matrix Starring Keanu Reeves, Carrie Ann-Moss and Laurence Fishburne. A legendary film of our modern time thanks to the masterful minds of The Wachowskis and master stunt coordinator Yuen Woo-ping. We discuss the actress who turned down the roll of Trinity and Hugo Weaving amazing portrayal of Agent Smith.
More movies are shuffled around; this time by Lionsgate movies. The feud of AMC and UNIVERSAL PICTURES continues as both parties double down on their decisions and now REGAL is the next to weigh in on this fiasco. The Coronavirus has impacted the way movies will be seen and distributed; we'll talk more about that in this weeks episode including our day out by the beach but not "on" the beach.

We also discuss how independent cinema owner like the one in Tulsa, Ok is prepping to open its theater as soon as next month and how big theater chains like AMC have said about opening in the midst of the 'rona; On movies, more of them are getting pushed back studios like Marvel Studios, Sony Pictures and Paramount have all released updated movie release and boy do we have quite a list.
Theres been ton of new music our Alanis Morissette, The Killers, Evanescence all released singles and well talk about that as well.
