Coach K sits down with Tangela Jeter, M.Ed., owner of Little Scholars Tutoring, to discuss her transition from classroom instructor to education consultant, entrpreneur, and advocate. Mrs. Jeter reflects on how stepping out on faith allowed her to expand her reach by serving students, advocating for parents, and mentoring & coaching other SPED teachers.

Mrs. Murphy-Jeter is a Certified Texas Teacher, Certified Positive Parenting & Discipline Trainer, and Positive Discipline in the Classroom Trainer. While she has worked in the field of education for the past 29 years, working in grades Pre-K to 12th teaching all core subjects with a focus in English and Reading, her passion is working with Special Education students. Mrs. Murphy-Jeter is a Family Advocate for families that have students with disabilities and a mentor for new and veteran teachers. Through her company, Little Scholars Tutoring, she provides tutoring and education enrichment services for students. She also offers Professional Development training, group coaching/mentorship and one on one coaching/mentorship to Educators.
Mrs. Murphy-Jeter has a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a M.Ed.( Masters Degree in Education) with a concentration in Differentiated Instruction from Concordia University Texas. She is a s a member of the National Association of Special Education Teachers, Positive Discipline Association, and the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools.
