We are getting back to the basics of our faith, knowing that mastering the basics is the key to any endeavor in life. In Hebrews 5:11-6:3, the Word rebukes us for not growing beyond the elementary principles of Christ, but then encourages us to press on to maturity by building upon these principles. Each week, we will address one of the elementary principles of following Jesus. In today’s sermon, we teach our sixth principle: pressing on to maturity. Maturity is something we are continually growing into, yet we will never fully reach this side of heaven. So what are we doing today to press on to maturity?
