The Advent season is upon us. While Advent traditions help to keep us rooted in our faith, we also need fresh eyes to see the holiday season with wonder. We will be exploring the Christmas story in the Gospel of Luke as we are encouraged to BEHOLD all that the Advent means to us. In today’s sermon, we study Luke 1:5-38 to BEHOLD how God began to enact His Advent plan. Knowing that God has always had a plan and that nothing can stop His plan will give us the strength we need for our lives today.

September is recognized as Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and September 10th is World Suicide Prevention Day. In honor of those observances last month, Kauai Bible Church is making TODAY our Suicide Prevention Sunday. We rejoice over John 1:4 that declares that Jesus is both life and light to the world.
