In our “By This We Know” series, we are exploring all the ways that John reassured us in his letter that we can know we have eternal life through Jesus Christ. John’s first epistle blends a spectacular balance of both making us feel loved and calling us to live to a higher standard. In today’s sermon, we study 1 John 4 and the beauty of God’s transforming love. We look at the cycle of love and how it creates momentum in our lives to grow in God’s love and to share God’s love with others. We know we are children of God when we see this cycle of love at work in our lives.

Happy Father’s Day!! Today is about honoring the men of our church but it is also about keeping God in the proper place as our Heavenly Father. Drs. The best way to know God’s will is to know Him more. The more we experience Him, the more we will come into obedience to His will.
