Pressure Radio Deep Soulful house latest podcasts

First show of the second year on VBR. Thanks to everyone that has tuned in or downloaded over the last 12 months. Weekly shows are intense and come round so quickly.
This week's show is a new music show for January. It's a real mixed bag, I'd only bought 16 new tracks and half of those were real chunky house tracks. You need about 25 for a two hour show so I needed to pad the first hour out but had no idea what to go with.
The mix starts with three new tracks on the soulful deep vibe. I then cracked the vinyl out and played two of my favourite Soulfuric tunes. We stayed old skool and vinyl for the next four tracks before coming back up to date with Jay Vegas remake of another old classic from the mid 90's. One of my favourite tunes from back then. Remakes are the order of the day and we pick another with a beefed up version of The Fog's "Been A Long Time".
Once we get past Yolanda Be Cool it's all new, up to the last track.
We first pay a visit to Old London town and those lumpy bumpy UKG beats.
The rest of the mix is the new house sound I'm hearing in the underground clubs.
My fav is the Haritas track, absolute mayhem, love it.
We finish off with another classic from the 00's - Shakedown - At Night.
Unfortunately my computer crashed just as the last track was mixing in. It meant my show ended abruptly five minutes early and the recording stopped. I had to stitch it back together again.
Next boat party for those of you in Sydney is March 6th, a Friday night cruise from 8pm to Midnight on the harbour. It is an experience being out on the water surrounded by the bright city lights. More info on it's way.

We made it. 💥 Day 7 of 7 and this run closes with Classic House v38 — a mix built to finish the week with purpose, soul, and energy.

This final set pulls everything together: grooves that breathe, rhythms that ride, and that timeless house feeling that never fades. No shortcuts, no filler — just the sound that started it all and still moves floors today.

Huge respect to everyone who locked in across all seven days. This wasn’t just a streak — it was a statement. More mixes ahead, but this one seals the moment. 🖤🎶

Happy New Year and welcome to the first radio show of 2026.
To kick off the new year I have a special guest who is fast becoming a regular. DJ Emma joins us for the third time in the last 12 months.
The last time we ended up with a marathon 4hr mix as we carried on after the show finished on air.
Not to be outdone this time we went for even longer. This mix comes in at a whopping 4hr 50m! The radio show stared at 9pm and we finished playing at almost 2am.
The last half of the mix we were crate digging back to our UK days.

Apologies for the distorted microphone.

No tracklisting at the moment, almost five hours worth is too much to be trying to identify, but keep checking back because you just never know.  One rainy day I just might give it a try.

Here's to a great 2026 for us all.

Day 6 and we’re deep in the pocket now. 🎶 Classic House v37 leans into warm grooves, soulful energy, and steady movement—the kind of mix that doesn’t rush anything, but keeps you locked from start to finish.

This one is built for heads who appreciate timing, flow, and mood. Smooth transitions, familiar flavors, and that unmistakable classic house feel that always hits right.

Six down. One final mix left. Let’s finish this run properly. 💥

Day 5 and the momentum is undeniable. 🔥 Classic House v36 keeps the groove locked with smooth blends, soulful cuts, and driving rhythms that sit right in that sweet spot between laid-back and uplifting.

This one is all about flow — tracks that breathe, vocals that hit just right, and energy that builds without forcing the moment. Whether you’re cruising, working, or zoning out late night, this mix holds steady and delivers.

Five down. Two left. The run continues. 💥

Day 4 and we’re fully in the pocket now. 🔥🎶 Classic House v35 leans into the core of the sound — driving grooves, soulful vocals, and that unmistakable house rhythm that keeps heads nodding and feet moving.

This mix is about consistency and control. No gimmicks. Just clean transitions, steady energy, and that timeless house feel that works whether you’re locked in at home, in the car, or late-night with the volume up.
