Hey Everyone,So I hope you all had the Xmas & NYE that you wished for & that the "TwoTwo" will be good to you!Incredibly, it was 40yrs ago this year that I first started with two decks & tried to mix. Unfortunately I had no mixer, so I just wired both the decks together into the single amp input. With no pitch control, there was a lot fun, but not a lot of success. Oh my, how things change! This then is the last in a trilogy focusing on the deeper side of the sub genres found within Soulful House. In this set I explore some interpretations of what are 'Roots'. It can mean many things to many people. Origin. History. Influence are what it means to me, represented by a tracklist that went like this...Rich Medina - Reality (Acapella)Curtis Mayfield - Freddie's Dead (Blaze Roots DJ Mix)LouieVega ft Blaze - Elements of Life (Karmic dub)Elements Of Life ft Ursula Rucker - Journey's Prelude (Frankie Feliciano)Moodymanc - Tamba Samba (Orig)Craig Jensen - Club Lonely (Rulers Of The Deep)Ed Gusto - Roots (Ed Gs Afrocentric)Michael Ashe & Deep Suite - Wondering Why (Deep Suite)Fish Go Deep - Indian SummerJus Dope - Roots Soul Creation Ft MISU - Sueno En Ti (Main)Ricardo Villalobos ft  Marvin Gaye – Aint That Peculiar (Mendo)Christian Hornbostel & Alfred Azzetto - 84 King Street (Souldynamic & Fiorese Organ Roots)DJ Romain & Jon Cutler ft Jeannie Hopper - Deje Vu (Mr. V's Roots)Anane & Mr V - Move Bounce Shake (Roots)Agev Munsen ft Roland Clark - The Thing About Deep (Roots)Louie Vega ft Johnny Dangerous - London Roots (Main)Ralf Gum & Monique Bingham - Little W. 12th St. (Ralf Gum Deeper Dub)Stephanie Mills - Free [JK Edit of Louie Vega Vox]Blaze - Listen (Roots Vox)
