We’re glad to welcome John McGinley to Preston Minster to speak to us.
John comes with a wealth of experience and wisdom from 25 years of ordained church ministry. 
He shared on what God is doing amongst emerging generations in our nation in this moment.

He had overseen church planting and evangelism in three different churches, John felt called to form Myriad as part of the work of The Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication (CCX). 

Myriad has a vision to see the formation of thousands of small church communities each led by everyday people in places where God has placed them. 

John oversees the work of The Send UK & Ireland which seeks to mobilize a younger generations of believers to fulfil the Great Commission.

What part could you play in planting a church?

It will cost us around £30,000 to run Family at Four for the first year, and we need to raise £15,000 of that now to help get it started.

Yesterday, we invited everyone in our church to pray and ask: “Could I make a gift that will help plant this church?”

Imagine this: If 100 people in our community gave a gift of £100, we'd raise £10,000. If a few of us with a bigger capacity to give £1,000, we'd raise the remaining £5,000. This is a big ask but we have a big and awesome God.
