In this sermon on 1 Samuel 13:15-14:23 we will see Jonathan, Saul's son, in action in how he was fearless and faithful in his devotion towards God in taking on the Philistines, in contrast to Saul who was reluctant and passive in doing the will of God.

In this sermon on 1 Samuel 14:24-46 we will see the foolish heart of Saul revealed in a foolish and pride-filled oath that he will make. This foolishness will then be the reason for several other actions that would follow so that in the end, the foolishness of Saul would be evident for all to see.
