Welcome back to week 2 of my mini-series with my mini-me Ros! With the news of Miramax outbidding A24 for the rights to the Halloween franchise, we had to discuss our opinions on the fate of Michael Myers. This week's subgenre is found footage and we went with 2020's Host. With a runtime of 65 mins, Host definitely packs a serious punch. Ros gives us some insights into what she loved about this movie and what really had her freaked out! We also discuss the found footage genre and how much of an impact it had on horror.

We hope you enjoyed part 2 of this series, next week we dive into the subgenre...creature features!!

I am joined in episode 8 by the Core Four to discuss our top 3 favorite Creature Features!! We discuss what constitutes a creature feature, separating the artist from the art, and so much more!! We talk about our love for practical effects and the tranisition to CGI, the creature being a metaphor for the actual "monsters" in the movie, and Aubrey waking up to Michael Jackson every morning. This is an episode you DON'T want to miss!!
