Haven’t you noticed overtime tween culture is slowly fading ? Back in the day there were tons of tween shows, tween clothing stores and so much more to celebrate the awkward stage of being a kid. Now, Gen Alpha doesn’t have that chance to go through the tween stage. In their eyes, it goes from kid to teen and no in between. Since they don’t have a third space to actually be a kid, they’re resorting to being kid influencers and not being able to make the most of their childhoods.
has the needoh trend been taking over your feed ? In this video, we’re going to be discussing the overconsumption of the viral squishy toys. Although, I’m not sure why they all of a sudden became viral again. but it’s gotten to point where people are standing in lines and fighting over these toys. Not to mention there’s greedy resellers price gouging a 5$ toy. Something that was normally used for STRESS is now become a trend and it’s becoming harder to find them anywhere!
Is having kids all cracked out to be? Burnt out parents are resorting to social media to vent their feelings out. Instead of seeing the side of perfect mom tropes, many of people are resorting to showing the raw and unfiltered side of parenthood. In this video, I try to analyze why parents feel this way and try my best to give advice. I decided to do something different in this video. I also reacted to Reddit stories from burnt out parents and although it’s uncomfortable, I think this is an important topic.
In this episode, I talk about how influencers are contributing to capitalism and making lower class people broke. Like many influencers, they make their money in commissions . Due to this, they *have* to constantly shove new products to us in hopes of making a sale. It’s frustrating. It feels like social media is not even authentic anymore and there’s more ads than anything.
Recently, there’s been a rise in non Asian people becoming Chinese. They’re claiming they’re doing it for their health but does it draw the line of cultural appropriation? Many people came onto tiktok to talk about Chinese medicine in hopes of becoming more healthy.
In this episode I talk about the recent backlash from a baby care brand called “baby Frida”. This company has been using way too many sexual innuendos involving min0rs. A lot of moms took to tiktok to express their concerns over the company and decided to either throw out their products or take it off their registries. They have yet to come out with a formal apology but since then, they haven’t. They feel like they weren’t trying to make people uncomfortable with their jokes but they unfortunately did. Let me know your thoughts!
If you’d like a part 2 to this episode, I would love to do it. I would also like to mention that I should’ve put a trigger warning bc there’s mention of dv & sa in this video.
in this episode, I talk about how ai is increasingly becoming incorporated into the modern world. It has become apparent that it’s here to stay. I talk about how people have been becoming more dependent on ai chat bots for a companion. The numbers are increasingly rising and it’s only going to get higher since people have a hard time making connections since Covid.
In this episode, I take a deep dive into GenZ’s obsession with the 2016 era. Many people are going as far as recreating it. But do you think it could be recreated? Check out my video to hear my thoughts on it!
In this episode, I will be discussing the death of social media. Many people are ditching social media for good for more physical media and to indulge into new hobbies. With the rise of AI, streaming services and more it makes sense onto why people are quitting social media.
