Hi angels! We’ve got a big life update this week after I had one of the scariest experiences of my life, someone broke into my property which really shook me. I’m sharing exactly what happened, how I reacted and why it’s completely changed the way I think about safety.
Then I'm joined by producer Blake this week and we’re getting into a VERY interesting conversation: how much do influencers actually owe their audience? Do you deserve an explanation when someone shares their life online, or are some things allowed to stay private? And of course, we’re finishing with some juicy Aunty Adelle dilemmas.
If you want to submit a question for my Aunty Adelle segment, do so here
Enjoy and thank you so much for listening!! x

Welcome back to Pretty Sure! This week we're talking about what it means to be “too much” and why I’m officially done apologising for taking up space. After someone called me a “force of nature,” it stuck with me in a weird way.. but it got me thinking about why being loud, ambitious, opinionated or energetic can sometimes feel like something we need to tone down.
We’re also unpacking whether our generation has a quitting problem, the difference between protecting your mental health and running away when things get hard, and why sometimes you might not need a whole new life.. you might just need to stick it out.
Enjoy xx

Hi again! We’re back with a little bonus episode because there is A LOT to unpack when it comes to Sydney Sweeney and her latest controversial campaign. We’re diving into the backlash, the sexualisation of women in sport, the gambling of it all, and whether Sydney knew exactly what she was doing.
And because it wouldn’t be Pretty Sure without Aunty Adelle, we’re helping an angel who moved home to Melbourne for love, but now feels completely lost and is wondering whether home might not actually feel like home anymore.. Enjoy x

Hi angels! This week we're unpacking Earle Meets World, and I have THOUGHTS. I was so excited to see more of Alix Earle behind the scenes, but did we actually learn anything new? We're talking reality TV, family drama, the Alix vs Alex Cooper fallout and whether we're minimising successful women just to make them more entertaining.
Then, we're getting into the pressure women put on themselves to look “perfect” for their wedding day, and why your wedding should never become a deadline to lose weight or change your body.
Stay tuned for a bonus ep from us later this week - enjoy x

Hi my loves! This week we're talking about why everything we love suddenly has to become a business. From turning hobbies into side hustles, to the pressure to always be working on the next thing, I'm asking whether we can just enjoy something without needing to monetise it.
We're also getting into the very important topic of takeaway food, before debating where we draw the line with op shopping.. clothes are one thing, but towels, sheets and undies? We have thoughts.
Enjoy and we can't wait to yap next week xx

Hi angels! This week I'm getting very real about starting the process of freezing my eggs, and the emotional rollercoaster I wasn't quite prepared for. From doing it solo, to the injections, the cost and all the feelings that come with it, we're talking through the reality of where I'm at right now.
We're also unpacking friendship breakups, why they can sometimes hurt more than romantic ones, and whether we need to get better at actually telling our friends when something isn't working instead of slowly disappearing.
Plus, North West just wants a normal teenage job, and Auntie Adelle is back answering your dilemmas, including the pressure to be thin and feeling terrified about getting naked with someone new.

We're celebrating Father's Day early with my girly pop Dad, Harry! You probably already know him as the man who spent $500 on hair clips in Japan.
I thought this would be a nice father/daughter chat, but ended up with Harry roasting me! But he did answer some of your questions about finance, food and travel.
Harry is sticking around to help me answer your Auntie Adelle questions, about feeling behind in your 20s and if you should reconnect with an old flame. Chat next week x

Hi angels! I'm back with producer Kitch and we're unpacking the best marketing brains in the influencer space, and the ones that have missed the mark...
We're diving deep into weddings, the costs, the expectations, and whether we've gone too far and are asking too much of our loved ones for our special day.
Keeping on the wedding theme, we've got a heap of you needing help and advice from how to split the costs of the wedding with your partner, to getting a text from your husband saying he doesn't love you anymore. Auntie Adelle is here for you.

I have to confess, that I was once so addicted to my apple watch, and it made me MISERABLE. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only, and that the over-optimisation of health is really taking the fun out of life.
There's a fair bit of chat online that being a bitch is one way to prevent illnesses. Is it really that simple? Or are we confusing 'being a bitch' with setting healthy boundaries.
And we've got another stack of Auntie Adelle's to get through, from supporting friends a friends upcoming wedding that you don't agree with, finding motivation after grief, and marrying for money only.
Enjoy angels X

Welcome to Pretty Sure by Adelle Petropoulos: the podcast where we talk about the things people think about, but nobody says out loud.
Each week, Adelle unpacks the conversations everyone's already having (or desperately wants to) and gives you her pretty sure opinions on internet culture and all things modern adulthood. And for everything Adelle is pretty not sure about? Well, that's what we're here to figure out together.
Welcome to the show!!
