Pride Goeth before the fall (Proverbs 16:18).  The ideas of vice and virtue predate our modern Christianity and harken back to Greek philosophers.  The balance between those vices and virtues were socratic but let's not put pride in a little box.  Can I be proud of my family, my ministry, my job?  I think I can but not if that pride picks me up by putting someone else down, that kind of pride is what satan tempted Jesus with in the wilderness. - Synopsis by Robert the AV guy - Russ is traveling
