Her dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to the cause have made her a driving force in the fair housing movement.

Ms. Zoe Ann Olson is the Executive Director of the Intermountain Fair Housing Council, Inc. (IFHC) and has been with IFHC for over ten (10) years now. Ms. Olson has 14 years of experience as an attorney with Idaho Legal Aid Services, Inc. (ILAS) where she served as the Housing Specialty Chair and Fair Housing/Fair Lending Project Director. Ms. Olson has had extensive fair housing training via John Marshall University, Seattle University, HUD/NFHTA, Accessibility First, National Consumer Law Center, National Fair Housing Alliance, EPA, and AARP. Ms. Olson has extensive housing law experience including the FHA, Idaho State housing law, reasonable accommodations and modifications, litigation concerning the FHA, public housing cases, wrongful evictions, repairs, security deposits, mobile home park cases, foreclosures, predatory lending, etc. Ms. Olson has extensive relationships with housing providers, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) staff, social service organizations, and housing law practitioners. She is a member of the Idaho Asset Building Network, NFHA, NAACP, Boise City/Ada County Coalition for the Homeless, Idaho State Bar Diversity Law, Real Property Law, Animal Law and Government and Public Sector Law, Idaho History Law Sections, and Idaho Woman Lawyers. Ms. Olson was a fair housing speaker at the Washington Affordable Housing Association Conference in 2019, at the Housing Solutions Conference in 2020, at the National Low-Income Housing Coalition Member Updates and the Fair Housing in Land Use and AFFH Conference at the University of Idaho in 2021, at the City of Boise for Fair Housing and Equal Access Training in 2022, at the IREM and NARPM Fair Housing Idaho Conference in 2022 and 2023 respectively, and the lead fair housing training throughout Idaho in 2012 to 2023. In 2022, she was the recipient of the Idaho Woman Lawyers Bertha Stull Green Public Service Lawyer Award and the Inns of Court Unsung Hero Award.
