Light BDSM Romance

Would you recommend Primal to your friends? Why or why not?

For someone looking for a quick, light BDSM book I would recommend this story. It isn't a heavy BDSM book but it does touch some BDSM parts without so many triggers that other books have. For someone looking to dive into part of this world without being totally shocked I would recommend it.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The performance overall was pretty good and the narrator did a good job bringing difference tones to the voice in the right parts of the performances. When the character needed to be shy the narrator did a good job portraying that, when the part needed to be dominant the narrator did that as well.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No, I don't think I would go see it as a movie as there wasn't enough to "pull" me in and really get me invested in it and want me to go pay for it as a movie. I enjoyed it as a quick read but I wouldn't read it again or want to pay to watch it as a movie. It's also a very short story so it would have to have a lot of fluff added to it to make it into a movie since the audiobook is only 3 hours long to begin with.

Short entertaining ,enjoyable and steamy afternoon listen. It's a light BDSM story. Nothing to shocking or over the top. If you want a little extra excitement in your story but nothing too out of your comfort zone this is a good story. You'll definitely want to keep your earbuds in though.

Winter is the good girl looking for a little adventure. Something a little different. When she ventures out of her comfort zone she just might find what she's looking for. When Sorin catch's her eye and the attraction is instant. She may have just found what she's been looking for and then some.

Love the contract terms. They were humorous, fun and not too dominant.

Irina Stone did a good job with the narration. This is the first time I have listened to a story she has narrated. Pleasant voice that is easy to listen to for long periods of time. Clearly spoken with a nice even pace. Good character voices. Both male and female. With just a slight change of tone her male character voices are good. I'm glad she didnt try to do a too deep male voice. So many times when a narrator does that the characters sound like idiots.
