Primarily Wonderful

This week I went back to school, almost all better from covid! I was so happy to see my littles and get all their hugs. More than anything, I'm just glad they remember who I am!! One thing I didn't enjoy when I got back was seeing how our new aide has been treating my littles...it's going to be a tough road ahead for that one.

Next week, I promise to get back into the teaching world. But today, I'm taking the tiny soapbox that I have and making a stand. If you are in similar situations, please know that you are not alone but it does suck!

You know, as teachers we are so used to working through sickness, so when I tested positive for COVID I had a really hard time with the fact that after only 3 days, I was going to miss the next 8 days of school.  What a welcome back to in person teaching... :(
But putting that aside, today we are talking about letter of the week!

It's that time of year, that time when I am almost never home, don't really eat, and attempt to retrain my body into not needing to pee for 10 hours straight! That's right--it's meet the teacher time!!

Sometimes new is nice, sometimes it creates issues...this time new wasn't so nice.  But in the end we were able to work with what we were given and get shit done.
I'm still waiting to get into the school BUT my wait will come to an end soon. Make sure to check out the Primarily Wonderful Instagram to track my progress.

I'm back and couldn't be more excited to be talking to you again! But that's not all I'm excited about. Just a few more weeks and I will be in the classroom with a bunch of littles and it's going to be awesome!

This week it's all about the social and emotional skills developed during play and how to help develop them! Check back in next week for section 3 :)

For our littles play is everything. It's how they learn, have fun, and even communicate with others. I love bringing play into our classroom every chance I get. I am always shocked at how many kinds of play there is and just how many different levels of play there are too!
Next week we will be back with Section 2!
