Back at the Galaxie studio a week after The Race of Gentlemen (check our coverage here) to recap the event.  William goes on about his work as some fabrication work for the truck, and Davis has no progress report.  SEMA update, kickback is NOT your friend, wife nagging does not equal faster work, and more!  The real price tag for "vintage" hot rods and motorcycles. Davis and William kick back in the Galaxie studio after a couple of weeks of trying to get things done and fighting motivation.  William got some work done on the Ford F100 truck and Davis is tackling paint on the Mustang.  Obviously some tangents and interruptions, but the boys got in an hour and twenty minutes of shop talk in the podcast.  We're going to The Race of Gentlemen in Pismo Beach, CA this coming weekend, and it should be great for its inaugural event.

We skipped Coronado Speed Week vintage racing.  We discuss other people's work on your projects, whats doing with william's truck and POR-15, priorities, some upcoming events such as The Race of Gentlemen in Pismo Beach, JCCS in Long Beach and Rising of the Rods. We talk about the Eddie Braun jump over the Snake River in Idaho which Evel Knievel couldn't do way back in 1974. Big plans with William's Galaxie, paint on the pick up truck, and the new Legacy license plates and expanded Year of Manufacture plate program for California.

GASSERS!  GASSERS!  GASSERS! All about the 3rd Annual Gasser Show at the  Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo, CA.  Also the usual banter about what's been going on with the Mustang and Truck,  the Munsters, and more.

We forgot to give a shout out to USautos98 on Flickr, who we met at the show! Met up with Jim Morrison from the South Bay Mustang Owners club for some one-on-one with all things Mustang related. We missed the panel speaker presentation due to time constraints.

We attended an open house at SoCal Auto Spa in Brea, CA for an onsite conversation with Bill Montgomery, Tim Smith, and Mike Sagat to talk about the Prime Motivation program. Good folks with a common goal to motivate and get high school kids inspired to follow their dreams and hidden talents within the automotive industry. It's a working shop and there was plenty going on during our podcast. Check out SoCal Auto Spa for open house events every Saturday! Tell Shawn we sent you.
