Note: Based on the biblical account, a pure intimate relationship should include all the following components:
- Two persons
- Male and female
- Real persons (non-virtual experiences)
- Under a life-enduring commitment (marriage)
- Ruled by love (the opposite of selfishness)
- Functionality as established by God at Creation
