Many times your enemy, the devil, will try to tempt you right before you are about to make an important decision. You may NOT know you are about ready to make an important decision. However, if the devil can succeed in getting you to yield to the temptation it will cause "fogginess" in your mind and spirit—and at times in your body! You can be sure that it will cost you!

HOW TO RESIST TEMPTATION PROTECTING YOUR BLESSING

Many times your enemy, the devil, will try to tempt you right before you are about to make an important decision. (You may NOT know you are about ready to make an important decision.) You probably will NOT realize it at the time, but yielding to that temptation MAY cost you $1,000's of US Dollars (or Cedis, Francs, Shekels or Pounds) … OR … it may cost you a relationship. There is a reason you are being offered this temptation by Satan.

You may be thinking, "It is just my body wanting to do fleshly things1," OR "I just want to drive a hot car2," OR "It will really make me look smart or cool3."

"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh1, the lust of the eyes2, and the pride of life3—comes not from the Father but from the world." (1 John 2:15-16)

Our beloved brother, James, tells us, "When tempted, no one should say, 'God is tempting me.' For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death."

It follows that IF we are offered temptation―being led into temptation―by the devil we will need to make sure we do NOT yield to it since that will be a sure sign that we are either being influenced by the evil one … OR … need deliverance from the evil one." In Matthew 6:13 Jesus admonished His followers to pray as follows: "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."

What you must realize is that no matter how major or minor the temptation may seem … there is a reason you should resist it!

THINK ABOUT IT

KNOW the importance of resisting temptation … if you yield to temptation it will cost you one ... OR … all of the following:

Fellowship with God Money Relationship Joy Peace Blessing Guidance or direction Health Favor Confidence

Be God's friend. God will lead you IF you are living holy.

"Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." (Matthew 26:41)

Eve―and then Adam―had fallen for the lie of the devil; and had participated in the things of the world. "When the woman [Eve] saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food [lust of the flesh] and pleasing to the eye [lust of the eyes], and also desirable for gaining wisdom [pride of life], she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband [Adam], who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves." (Genesis 3:6-7)

The Bible tells us that Adam and Eve experienced shame for the first time after they sinned in the Garden. "Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden." (Genesis 3:8)

SUGGESTION

Now let me give you a suggestion. If you really want to resist temptation, God will help you. Sometimes it is a "progression." For example, you may have to grow in the process. So do NOT give up. The rewards of being free and NOT being a slave to temptation are too great for you to be defeated and lose opportunities for blessing. Especially the "closeness" you will experience with the LORD as you walk in holiness. Turn … go the right direction … and the blessings will follow.

Remember, you can speak with authority to the devil and say, "The LORD rebuke you Satan. But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, "The Lord rebuke you!" (Jude 1:9)

And declare aloud, God tells me, "Be holy because I am holy." (1 Peter 1:16) And, IF you're being tempted, you might want to talk to yourself.

TALK TO YOURSELF

"Is the temptation I am facing worth more than my fellowship with God and His blessing?"

"Since Jesus loved me so much that He died for me on the cross-stake and shed His sinless BLOOD to pay for my sins, shouldn't I want to live for Him?"

"Why don't I let God deliver me from this situation?"

"Call upon me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you will honor me."(Psalm 50:15)

You need to make your departure from the temptation at the point of decision. Do NOT hesitate. Just as you would flee a murderer threatening your life, flee temptation! Run away FAST and IMMEDIATELY!

DESCRIPTION OF THIS TEACHING

In this podcast teaching we will discuss "Some Hindrances to Healing … and How You Can Overcome Them." Many times God's People know it is His will for them to be healed; however, do NOT realize that there MAY be some situations or conditions that are preventing―or hindering―their healing.

Your mind―and therefore your body―can be abused by many things. At times there are hindrances to healing―things or conditions that are causing the sickness or affliction―and that must be dealt with before healing can take place permanently. This teaching covers several such conditions AND how to achieve healing by dealing with them.

SOME HINDRANCES TO HEALING

HOW YOU CAN OVERCOME THEM

Your mind - and therefore your body - can be abused by many things. At times there are hindrances to healing: things or conditions that are causing the sickness or affliction, and that must be dealt with before healing can take place permanently. Things such as:

► Unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment [Mark 11:25-26]

► Envy and strife [James 3:16]

► Improper food, rest, sunshine, or exercise [Isaiah 30:15]

► Speaking evil of, or causing harm to, God's ministers [1 Samuel 26:9]

► Involvement in the occult or in witchcraft [Deuteronomy 18:10-12]

► Association with religious cults [1 John 4:1-3 / 1 John 5:20]

Whether sickness is caused by disobeying God through an unforgiving spirit, strife, or resentment … involvement in the occult … or association with religious cults … Jesus Christ is the answer! NOTE: For help with deliverance, consult the book, Healing Deliverance – Freedom from the Bondage of Satan, by Prince Handley.

PROPER PRAYER

Through prayer we can come to God and ask him to forgive us of all these things; we can also ask him to deliver us, if necessary! 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." In Psalm 50:15 we read, "Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me."

PROPER PRAISE

Praise is also an important element in healing and is definitely inter-connected with prayer and proper mental attitude. Praise lets God know you believe He will work in your situation. Learn to lift your hands up to God and praise Him several times a day, for as long as you want to.

God lives in the praise of His people. "But You are holy, O You that inhabits the praises of Israel." (Psalm 22:3)

The anointing breaks the yoke. Since God lives in the praise of His people, there is an anointing present with true praise, which can break an "assigned" attack on the body, mind or spirit. "And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing." (Isaiah 10:27)

Praise brings victory. King Jehoshaphat and the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem won a large battle utilizing praise. (Read 2 Chronicles Chapter 20, verses 1-30 in the Tanakh.)

PROPER MENTAL ATTITUDE

We see the importance of proper mental attitude in the life of Job. Job was afflicted by Satan with sore boils from his feet to his head. The devil destroyed Job's wealth and killed his seven sons and three daughters and stole his health. Job's experience was a rare, "once-in-the-Bible" case. It was allowed by God to prove that a certain man ("greatest of all the men in the East") would not curse God even if he lost everything, including his health.

It shows that Satan is a "destroyer," who causes sickness and disease. It shows that God is a "healer," and that God calls sickness "captivity." Job was a just man; even God said so. His experience presents a question that lots of people ask: "Why?"

NOTICE 7 THINGS ABOUT JOB'S CONDITION

1. Job's case was unique; it was NOT an example! Don't use it as an excuse to be sick.

2. Satan accused Job of serving God only because of God's blessing, protection and help.

3. Satan is the one, the Bible says, who STOLE Job's health, KILLED his children, and who DESTROYED his property. [Job, Chapters 1 and 2; John 10:10]

4. Job proved faithful in trial. Job did not sin with his lips or charge God foolishly. [Job 1:22 and 2:10]

5. The Bible calls Job's sickness and his loss -- "captivity." [Job 42:10]. Jesus said, "If the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed." [John 8:36]

6. Job was healed! Because of proper mental attitude, Job prayed for his friends (who were not real friends); this was when God delivered Job. [Job 42:10]

7. "The Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before." … "The Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning." [Job 42:10-12]

Even though Job lived on the other side of the cross (that is, before Christ)―not having the advantages of Christ's work and authority over Satan as we do―he was still healed through prayer and proper mental attitude. A proper mental attitude will cause you to have an instinctive reaction to sickness and ill-health: you will refuse it … knowing it does NOT belong to you!

You will speak to it, saying, "Sickness, I resist you in the name of Jesus Christ by whose stripes I am healed." Notice two things; you resisted the sickness by: 1) speaking to it; and, 2) using Scripture (the Word of God).

The Holy Bible says in James 4:7, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." In Matthew 4:11, we see how Jesus resisted Satan. He did it the same way you are to do it: with the Word of God. Each time Jesus spoke to the devil, Jesus said, "It is written …"

PROPER PHYSICAL PRACTICE

Proper nutrition, rest, sunshine, and exercise are all beneficial to a proper mental attitude and maintenance of good health.

Scriptural fasting and honoring the Lord's Day or Sabbath contribute, also, to a proper mental attitude; and are laws of God with built-in bonuses of health and blessing. Read Isaiah Chapter 58.

"Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; You will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I."

(Isaiah 58:8-9)

"If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the LORD's holy day honorable, then you will find your joy in the LORD, and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land ..." (Isaiah 58:13-14)

You can be healed … walk in health … and help others to do the same. "You shall come to your grave in a full age, like a shock of corn comes in its season." (Job 5:26-27). DOING THE END TIME WORKS

WILL YOU BE THE ONE?

This is Prince Handley … the creative glory of God is going to ignite your soul today!

MUSIC

Are you willing to do the works of Jesus? Someone within the sound of my voice today is going to be used of God to reach every nation, every tribe, every tongue, every dialect of the world on Planet Earth for Messiah Jesus before he comes back. The world has yet to see what God can do through the person who allows the breath of God's creativity to capture them. That person will not copy the works of men. They will not copy the works of ministries nor of ministers nor of rabbis, but they will abandon every fiber of their being to the Holy Spirit.

Would you be willing to do the works of Messiah Jesus? He'll reward you when He returns to take His People away. You may say, "I'm only a housewife. I'm only a rabbi or pastor of one community. I'm only a school student. I'm too young. I'm too old. I don't have the education. I don't have the ability. I have too many idiosyncrasies. I don't have the right personality makeup. I'm handicapped." All you need is to surrender every fibre of your being to the Holy Spirit … and all the Holy Spirit wants is you!

MUSIC

The Holy Bible tells us the Tubalcain, one of the early descendants of Adam, was an instructor of every artificer in brass and iron. He had a spirit of craftsmanship. It was a gift of God. When men were chosen to construct the house of God in the Old Testament, God gave them a Spirit of Craftsmanship. In the same sense today, God can give you a Spirit of Creativity. Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) came to earth to buy you with His own Blood that He shed on the cross-stake. With His own blood he bought you for God. He paid for all your sins and for all your imperfections with His blood. And if you receive him as your substitute, he will come to live inside you by the Holy Spirit: The Creator. Since God is The Creator—since he lives inside you—he can create through you. He wants to create through you. You may have never been a creative person in your life. You may have never been skilled in art, in writing, in manufacturing, or any type of creative workmanship. That's good. You're just the kind of person God is looking for. As a matter of fact, you're the most likely candidate for God to use ... to create through, to communicate the healing love of Messiah Jesus to the world. Rabbi Shaul (the Apostle Paul) said, "When I am weak, then I am strong." God told Paul, "My grace is sufficient for you." It's enough … for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Many times it's the person who appears to be the strong athlete who fails to lean on God. Many times it's the person who appears to be the successful politician who fails to lean on God, and many times it's the person who seems to be the excellent minister, rabbi, or priest who fails to lean on God.

Their apparent success turns out to be their failure. But quite often it's the person who seems to be a failure who leans on God. That person knows his or her own weaknesses. They know their human limitations. They know that even the strong points of their seemingly weak life are only gifts from God … and that the same Lord who freely gives can freely take away! That person's apparent failure turns out to be their success. The one that was first ended up last … and the one who was last ended up first. Right now, the Spirit of God Almighty is stirring your soul. God has a message for you that can change the course of nations. This is God's day in the earth and the creative glory of God is going to ignite you. God is getting ready to change your life. Don't worry about whether you've ever been creative. God is going to create through you. He'll do new things that have never been done before. He'll make you a creative instrument. You may become one of the world's greatest advertisers for Messiah Jesus. Remember, God says His Word will never come back void. You may become one of the world's greatest manufacturers for the LORD. I know a man who manufacturers plastic bobbles (floaters) in his backyard, and inside these little plastic parts can be placed portions of the Word of God as they're dropped on the oceans. They can be floated into Russia, into China, into Communist and Islamic countries. You don't know what God may show you to do. That Breath of God's Spirit is all you need. You may become the world's greatest artist, writer, media producer for the LORD. You may become the world's most creative pastor, minister, rabbi or priest.

I know a housewife who spent only a few moments one time doing something the Spirit of God directed her to … and she reached millions for Messiah. Don't remember the former things. Don't consider the things that are old. God will do a new thing in your life. It will spring forth. You'll know it. God will even make a way in the wilderness of your environment. After all, he makes rivers in the desert. The Bible tells us in Isaiah Chapter 42, verse 9:

"Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them."

You'll know them. God says today, "The breath of God is upon you to anoint you for a creative work in the earth." Will you do the works of Jesus!

DESCRIPTION OF THIS TEACHING

I want to continue with another powerful concept: The Vision and the Miraculous. A more specific title would be: Creating with vision and decision through the eye of your mind mixed with faith.

In 1933 Hitler appointed Hermann Göring as Minister of the Interior. His first orders were to defund and eliminate the police departments so that they would NOT interfere with Hitler's Brown Shirts. The Brown Shirt's mission was to riot, burn, beat up and to kill citizens in an effort to sway the elections to ensure their National Socialist agenda. Now, today's American Socialist leaders want to defund and eliminate the police for the same reason.

As we advance into the entrance of the End Times when the future holds pandemics, violence and revolution, economic downturn―even social displacement―you can be an instrument of God to protect and bless your country.

Plus, you can walk in victory spiritually, mentally and physically―and you can prosper―you can come out victorious. You will WIN if you learn AND practice the precepts in this teaching.

It Is my desire that you will use this "Truth-Concept" in every area of your life: Wholeness, Healing, Power and Prosperity. Make it happen … don't let it happen to YOU!

_______________________________________________ THE VISION AND THE MIRACULOUS CREATING WITH VISION & DECISION: THE EYE OF YOUR MIND

Previously we talked about right thoughts plus diligence will cause you to profit.

Today, I want to continue with another powerful concept: The Vision and the Miraculous. A more specific title would be: Creating with Vision and Decision Through the Eye of Your Mind Mixed with Faith.

To SEE with the eye of the mind … that is, to envision … can encompass the following: imagination, thinking, and decision making.

To cut out with the eye of your mind is to SEE IT, or to THINK IT upon the tablet of your heart or human spirit. This will enable you to experience MIRACLES ... real miracles ... for the glory of God!

In Job 22:28 we read, "You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you." In the original Hebrew language the word "decree" is a primitive root form of the word "gazar," which means "to cut out exclusively, or to decide." In its primitive form it is used also as a quarrying term ... as in cutting out stone from a rock quarry. It means more than to say or speak. It conveys the meaning of cutting something out in the eye of your mind; that is, to envision ... to make a vision ... to decide upon it, and confess it ... and then it will be established unto you!

To decree is the progenitor of heart belief and mouth confession. It is BOTH the nucleus and all-encompassing embryo of initiating great moves of the Holy Spirit on Planet Earth. This is why we need to spend time meditating the Word of God. We are NOT talking about New Age type meditation―which can actually be used and energized by demonic forces. We are talking about meditation of God's Word and Promises so we know how to work in alignment with our Father in Heaven, the LORD God of Israel.

When we meditate the Word of God we learn His principles; we also learn WHAT He wants (what His will is for the nations and for us). We also learn how to please Him by living holy and doing His will: reaching people and nations with the Truth of Messiah. Then we can DECREE a thing because we have decided upon it … we have cut it out in our mind's eye. We therefore BELIEVE it in our heart: the Holy Spirit has impressed the will of the Father upon our mind and deposited it in our human spirit.

We have seen the Will of God in our mind's eye and have decided to implement it. We decree it by Seeing, Believing, and Speaking. We ACT on our decision after we have HEARD from God … and it comes to pass. We PLAN in the Spirit; we IMPLEMENT in the Spirit. We BELIEVE and KNOW that it will come to pass, and therefore we RECEIVE it for the glory of the Father. (Read Mark 11:23-24 in the Brit Chadashah, the New Testament).

Faith is wonderful … but it is even better when you have a PLAN to go along with your faith.

FAITH IS WONDERFUL EVEN BETTER WHEN YOU HAVE A PLAN TO GO ALONG WITH YOUR FAITH

If your plans fit into God's plans … you will have God's faith … and God's faith always works! YOU can bring MIRACLES and BLESSING to yourself, your family … and your country! Use your faith based upon God's Word ... envision, decide, decree!

In future sessions we will discuss how to turn the tide … HOW to enter into the realm of the MIRACULOUS: where historical, earth-shaking, victories are won BY ... and FOR ... the glory of God!

When you struggle with problems constantly (especially the same one), your soul is constricted. Until you're free from struggling with problems, you will not be the creative instrument you should be. God is a communicator. Don't get hung up on the externals. This podcast teaching will teach you: 1. How to stop struggling with the same problems; 2. How to use the blessings of materialism for the glory of God, and, 3. How to operate from your REAL location!

Are you tired of struggling with the same problem today that you struggled with yesterday … last month … last year? Why don't you give it to Jesus today? You may say to me, "I already tried that." Yes, you may have tried it, but when you took it to Jesus, you were NOT in the proper location spiritually to release it.

You did not see your problem in perspective. You did not see your problem as it was―or is―related to you. You did not see where your problem was located. You did not see yourself in perspective as related to your problem.

I remember one day as I was preaching on the streets in the middle of the afternoon, an automobile turned in towards the curb, stopped about three feet from me while I was preaching. I pointed my finger to the windshield and I said, "You'll drive crooked all through life until Christ straightens you out." That man turned the corner, went around the block and drove into nine or 11 people on the sidewalk and killed a few of them. I remember another time I was preaching and I looked over and a man was just stabbed right in the back. Neither of those people knew what to expect that day. You know it maybe only one more day before you go to be with God.

You don't know what God is going to require of you tomorrow. I wonder if when we get to Heaven, we will look back and say, "Oh, why didn't I do it more often the way Jesus said I should? Why wasn't I more loving when I could have been? Why didn't I forgive the unforgiving? Why didn't I just give something to the people that wouldn't give to me? Why didn't I just sacrifice a little more?" It may only be one more day before Jesus Christ takes us home, or before he returns here.

The apostle Paul reached people he had never met. He had a ministry that extended throughout then known world. He said at one time, "I have fully preached the gospel throughout Asia." You know, Rabbi Shaul (the Apostle Paul) was a man who had to resist the attacks of the enemy upon his mind. [And so do YOU … and so do I.] Paul operated in the heavenly realm. Paul discovered a secret that he shared with the church at the city of Colossae while he was in prison again. A brother named Epaphras came and told him about the mixed Judaism that had spread into the church. He told him also about the false demonic Oriental mysticism that had come from the East. [Colossae was on the trade route.] The brother told Paul that there were teachers in the church at Colossae teaching the people to worship angels and telling them they had to receive advanced spiritual knowledge and come into an exclusive society. My friend, Jesus and his love and power are never exclusive.

So Paul wrote the believers at Colossae. Since they were learning that they have to have advanced knowledge, Paul would reach them on common ground. Paul was a communicator: First of all, because he was a street preacher; Secondly, because he listened to the Spirit of God. When you have a combination like that, you can't lose. When you're willing to get out where the people are and when you're willing to listen to God and obey him, God will communicate through you because you're an open vessel. Paul thought, "Since they're earning this false teaching, I will talk to them on common ground." and he thought, "I'll write to them about Advanced Knowledge." Let's call it A K.

These people were being taught that they had to come into an initiatory rite, and then they could climb up the [spiritual] ladder one rung at a time. Then they [supposedly] would be more exclusive and they would be a member of a secret group. My friends, I want to tell you that there is NO seniority when you're in Messiah Jesus!

Don't worry: you are NOT going to get bumped off the list of Jesus' friends! Messiah Jesus said, "He that comes to me, I will not cast out." He loves you. You may have been a Christian for only five seconds. You may have just given your life to Christ when you heard this program. But I want to tell you, you're as much in the family of God as somebody that's known him and preached the gospel for 50 years. God's love for YOU is never ending!

Rabbi Shaul (Paul) thought, "Let's talk to them on common A-K ground." So he told the believers in Colossae, "I want to tell you something. If you really want some advanced knowledge, Messiah Yeshua (Jesus, the Anointed One) is it. For in Messiah lives all the fullness of the Godhead bodily―and you are complete in Him―the head of all principality and power." Paul let those believers know that Jesus is the Advanced Knowledge! Christ is made unto us―all of us who call upon His Name―wisdom and right-standing and sanctification and redemption.

That's why you can ask God for wisdom and he'll give it to you abundantly ... but don't waiver! Don't be as a wave tossed in the sea. Move out on that wisdom that God gives you when you ask. Paul reached these people; he knew how to communicate. He knew how to talk to them. He walked right down their street ... spiritually.

One key of Paul 's success in the Spirit was this: he made a practice of never building on another man's foundation. [Study Prince Handley's teaching on Imitational Faith.] Paul hadn't been to Colossae, but since it was about 100 miles directly east fof Ephesus, many of the people had come to hear Paul. He was teaching at the school of a brother named Tyrannus; and Timothy also had a great influence in that area. To understand the situation, let's look at the church in that day. There were no theological seminaries as we know them today. There were no non-profit corporations or organizations―and God worked anyway. There were no multimedia ministries, but the Spirit of God wasn't looking for these. The Spirit of God was just looking for people … and that's just what He is looking for today!

You may be used of God in the media, you may be the leader or president of a great corporation before God … but I want to tell you that God is looking for is your heart. God doesn't need "slick" people. God's not looking for "slick" people. He's got enough of them today. If talent would save the world, God's got plenty of that. But God's looking for somebody like Paul who was open to the Spirit's leading, and who knew how to take his authority in Christ, and who had a new dynamic that would serve people―that could motivate in the Power of the Spirit.

Paul learned from Epaphras that part of the teaching these people were receiving was what was known as dualism. It was a forerunner of Gnosticism but it was not the same as Gnosticism. Dualism taught that matter was evil and spiritual things were good. You see, the people were influenced by polarity in the church of that day, and we see the same thing in the church today. We've seen it down through the ages.

We have to avoid extremes mentally … and even by teachers in the Body of Christ. We have to maintain a poise. Now, when I talk about maintaining poise, I'm talking about "Spiritual Balance." Many times today in the church, we hear that we should be balanced. But that word and phraseology many times is used by people to avoid doing anything for Christ that will make waves. Jesus made waves. Jesus rocked people's boats! And if you live for Christ, there won't be any "in between." People will either love you or hate you. When I talk of spiritual balance or scriptural balance, I'm talking about being like Jesus―being symmetrically efficient in every direction! Jesus was an extremist! When he prayed … He prayed. When he rested … He rested. When He taught … He taught. When he preached … He preached.

Paul thought, "I'm going to be like these people. I'll talk to them about dualism." You see, some of the people were rigid ascetics [A person who renounces material comforts and leads a life of austere self-discipline, especially as an act of religious devotion.] They said, "If matter is evil, let's stay away from it. They fasted much―and there's nothing wrong with fasting―fasting is good, it's godly, it's scriptural. I practice it, I believe it. But these people were ascetics and many of them were dressed shabbily. Many of them wouldn't even wash because of water being material and they felt water was evil. On the other hand―at the opposite end of the polar range―some of the people there who were receiving false teaching and said, "Since matter is evil and since these other people are being driven away from matter, it has an influence on them" … so they said, "Let's just jump in the middle of "matter" and do whatever we want. Let's eat, drink, and make merry."

We need a healthy view of how God can use material things in His Kingdom. It doesn't matter so much to God whether you ride a horse, ride a pig, or walk. What matters to him is that you get there to spread the Good News of Messiah Jesus. God is a communicator … don't get hung up on the externals. We need to get involved in the things that are important to the LORD. I've walked to preach the gospel. I have hitchhiked to preach the gospel. I've flown to preach the gospel. I've ridden in fine cars to preach the gospel. It doesn't matter how we get there. Let's just get there and do the job.

GOD IS A COMMUNICATOR DON'T GET HUNG UP ON THE EXTERNALS

Let's just get there and let the love of Jesus heal people through us. Rabbi Shaul (Apostle Paul) knew that the Colossians had never grasped the real motivation of God in their life. You see, they were tied up with dualism. They were tied up with this striving over the material things of life―the material versus the spiritual―but thank God, all the blessings of materialism can be anointed spiritually for the kingdom of Jesus if you'll give them back to God ... if you'll ask God to sanctify them as holiness under the Lord.

God wants the best for you, my friend. Paul wrote the believers in Colossae:

Since [by the Spirit] you have been raised with Messiah Yeshua, set your hearts on things above, where He is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Messiah in God. When Messiah―who is your life―appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.

You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator."

– Colossians Chapter 3, Verses 1-9

Get away from striving over the material things. Get away from dualism. Get away from the religious philosophy of exclusivism. Start including! Start realizing who YOU are. Take your place in Christ at the right hand of God and then you can attack your problems from above. Just as the airline pilot does when he flies above the storms, when he rises to an altitude and flies above the bad weather … you can do that in life today. It's no struggle IF you realize where you are with Messiah Jesus! You may be sitting on a chair right now, but potentially you're in the heavens with Jesus.

STOP STRUGGLING WITH THE SAME PROBLEM

Attack your problems in the Name of Jesus—and by the Power of God's Spirit—today. Don't struggle with those same problems anymore! I want you to see it from where you're really at: seated at the right hand of God with Messiah Jesus in Heaven.

WHEN YOU STRUGGLE, YOUR SOUL IS CONSTRICTED.UNTIL YOU'RE FREE FROM STRUGGLING WITH PROBLEMS, YOU WILL NOT BE THE CREATIVE INSTRUMENT YOU SHOULD BE

You know … Jesus has an very big house, and is building one for YOU. You might as well get used to strolling around in YOURS. You might as well get used to seeing things on earth from YOUR Heavenly position. So since you're already there, don't let the enemy lie to you. Don't let the devil rob you out of the potential you have in Christ. You're seated at the right hand of God. Attack your problems from above … spiritually.

Jesus, I heard you had a big house!

How to conquer and then divide the inheritance by teaching those you lead how you won: teaching them their authority in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), so they can conquer and win for the Kingdom in the End Times.

HOW TO LEAD IN THE END TIMES CONQUER THE LAND FOR GOD'S PEOPLE

Joshua was Moses' Chief aide and military leader; he became Israel's leader after Moses' death. Joshua led the people across the Jordan and into the promised land.

Seven (7) nations were destroyed in the land. After the conquest of the land by the children of Israel, the land was divided among the tribes of Israel.

There were tremendous MIRACLES in Joshua's day:

• The crossing of Jordan.
• The fall of Jericho
• The sun standing still.

NOTE: All these miracles had to do with getting God's people into the land and driving out the enemy! They were involved in God's plan and purpose to reach the world and prepare it for the Messiah. If you're involved in God's PLAN and PURPOSE to reach the world for Messiah, God will do GREAT MIRACLES for and through you!

Remember: The KEY to the Old Testament (Tanakh): "A record of a nation designed to bring forth a Man (the Messiah of God)." The KEY of the New Testament (Brit Chadashah) is: "A record of a Man (the Messiah of God) designed to bring forth a nation (the people of God)."

"For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil." -- I Yochanan (John) 3:8

Your job is the same as Joshua's. To go into new territory and conquer for the LORD; to destroy the works of the devil; and then to divide the land (inheritance) among God's people.

You might ask, "How do I divide the land among God's people?" Here's your answer, "By teaching them their authority in Messiah Jesus ... WHO they are in Christ and WHAT they have in Christ ... by teaching them HOW you conquered, and sharing the blessings you have received, so they will know how to conquer: HOW TO WIN!"

THOUGHT:

Do you have your orders from God like Moses and Joshua? Are you operating in the perfect center of God's will for your life? If not, PRAY, and ask God to show you His plan for your life. Spend time ALONE with God daily in your prayer closet (a regular place where you can meet with Him). If your plan fits into God's plan, you will have God's faith: and God's faith always works!

READ IT AGAIN:

If your plan fits into God's plan ... you will have God's faith ... and God's faith always works!

TO LEAD A GREAT BODY OF PEOPLE, SEEK GOD'S ADVICE & FOLLOW

Moses led over 3,000,000 people through the wilderness. Multiply the male census (603,550) by 2 (allowing each man a wife) = 1,200,000 and then figure 3 children (minimum) for every family (3 X 600,000 = 1,800,000). Whenever a major problem arose, he prayed and talked to God about it before he took action.

The one time he acted foolishly, when he did not take God's advice, cost him earthly blessings. He became angry so that he "hit" the rock instead of "speaking" to it. Forty years before, God had told him to "hit"the rock and water would come out for the people to drink.

However, near the end of the wilderness wanderings, when the people were complaining over thirst again, God told him only to SPEAK to the rock and water would come out. Moses became angry and, even though the fault was with the people he was leading, the Bible says: "he spoke UNADVISEDLY with his lips". (He called them a bunch of rebels.) Read Exodus 17:1-7; Numbers 20:1-13; and Psalm 106:32-33. Do NOT let people, disease, failure, discouragement or opposition cause YOU to quit.

If you don't quit ... you'll WIN. But if you quit ... you can't WIN.

1. Make sure YOUR PLAN fits into GOD'S PLAN.
2. Seek God's advice and follow it.
3. Teach people their authority in Christ. (Divide the land among God's people.)

If your plan fits into God's plan ... you will have God's faith ... and God's faith always works!

DEALING WITH TENSION IN RELATIONSHIPS A GUIDE FOR HEALING IN RELATIONSHIPS

Tension in relationships is NOT bad. It is a "way mark" if handled correctly. That is, it is a marker along the way to further progress, an ensign for the strengthening of the relationship.

There are four (4) types of mentalities:

• Survival

• Contract

• Traditional (family)

• Covenant

In the covenant relationship, you are being concerned MORE for the other party. Dr. Livingstone, the great missionary to Africa, reached many tribes for Christ that could not have been reached otherwise by making a blood covenant with them. In such covenant relationships each party is telling the other: "Whatever I have is yours if you need it." Livingstone had a life threatening condition that required him to drink goats' milk. Because of this, he would keep a goat with him. One day, a tribal chieftain that had made a blood covenant with Livingstone told him that he wanted his white goat. That reminds me of the saying "Got your goat!" Knowing the seriousness of this request, and the danger it could pose for himself, Livingstone honored the request and gave the chieftain his white goat. Many of our problems appear in our relationships with other people. Has anyone ever had problems with you? Moses was a problem solver; he was an intercessor. You can read about his intercession and leadership through using prayer in Numbers Chapter 14. The FIRST thing to do when tension arises in a relationship is to PRAY. Because there are problems in interpersonal relationships doesn't mean you are sinning; for example, problems with family members. If you are praying for the other person or people, if you are forgiving, and if you are doing what the Holy Spirit is showing you to do (which never contradicts scripture), then be at peace. However, many people - and some Christians - "stumble" in life because they are proceeding in darkness. Some Christians even experience lots of sickness and repeated physical conditions ... or even accidents ... because of this. Our beloved brother John admonishes us in his writings as follows:

• He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.

• He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.

• But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. (1 John 2:9-11)

• This is also why it is important NOT to cause trouble in a relationship between other people. The Bible says that one of the seven things that are an abomination to God―and that he hates―is the person "who causes discord among brethren." (Proverbs 6:19)

CAUTION: If a person who is NOT in either a traditional (family blood) relationship with you or a covenant relationship with you, comes to you and says something negatively about, or brings charges against, a person in your family or with whom you are in relationship, BEWARE! Many families and relationships have been injured by such people. Your first reaction / response should be as follows: "I will consult with my relative or partner about this (what you have told me) and then I will pray and take it to the Lord." Many people have received lies about their own family members or partners while never having even asked about "the other side of the story," or WHY the accusations have been made, or even IF they were true. My mother used to say, "Blood is thicker than water." Moses led 3,000,000 people. In Numbers Chapter 14, Moses had just finished asking – interceding – for God's mercy on Israel when Korah, Dathan, and Abiram started their rebellion against him. Korah was Moses' cousin and a member of the tribe of Levi in the family of Aaron. (Numbers 16:3) Notice five (5) processes in the life of Moses in dealing with tension in relationships and solving problems:

• Personal Prayer

• Confrontation

• Let God Fight for You

• Separate Yourself from Strife

• Intercede for Others

PERSONAL PRAYER In Numbers 16:4-7 notice that Moses positioned himself face down in prayer. First, always PRAY and SEEK GOD'S WISDOM. Are you facing a problem? Are you causing a problem? Korah's complaint against Aaron was strictly a complaint against God: it was not a complaint about qualifications, but against God's order. This can often be a cause of spiritual impotence ... and of judgment ... among churches, ministries, or families. In 1 Corinthians 11: 3 we see God's order for the home: "But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God." It is NOT a matter of who is better than another, but rather of order, so that love and power can flow unhindered from God: to effect BLESSING upon the unit and upon the individuals of the unit. In cases where an individual is NOT performing their duties ... for example, when a man is not being the spiritual leader of the home, then God has ways to circumvent the hindrance so that blessing will flow. This is where prayer and obedience come into play by each member. PRAY, LISTEN, and OBEY! CONFRONTATION Dathan and Abiram were members of the tribe of Reuben, while Moses was of the tribe of Levi. It was important for Moses to control his anger. We are to approach people in God's wisdom and love so they will receive BENEFIT of confrontation (which is an alternative to unacceptable behavior).

1. Pray for God's wisdom; and, 2. Follow up with appropriate confrontation.

Let people know, if it is possible, that you are confronting them because you love them and want the best for them. As parents, God tells us to correct without anger. We may have to spank (use the rod, not the hand) at times, but we should always, after the discipline, pray with our children and let them KNOW they are FORGIVEN and LOVED. God did NOT invent "time out." "Time out" has probably done more to make it hard for young people to honor, hear from, and serve God than any other socially devised concept during the ages. It is probably one of the major factors for the increased number of teen pregnancies. "And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the LORD." (Ephesians 6:4) LET GOD FIGHT FOR YOU After you have first prayed and done what God has showed you to do . . . then REST! We see two good examples of this in Exodus Chapter 14 and 2 Chronicles Chapter 20.

"Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today ... the LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." (Exodus 13-14) "Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's." (2 Chronicles 20:15)

We also see what happened to those who rebelled against Moses and Aaron in Numbers 16:28-30. Has God ever lost a battle? NO! Have you? YES! SEPARATE YOURSELF FROM STRIFE When you need deliverance, separate yourself from struggle . . . and let God do a MIRACLE!

MENTALLY SEPARATE YOURSELF If you are thinking negative thoughts, separate yourself from these and renew your mind with the promises in God's Word. PHYSICALLY SEPARATE YOURSELF You may have to separate yourself from either a SITUATION or a PERSON. In Exodus Chapter Two we read where Moses killed a man. He then spent 40 years in the wilderness of Midian, probably in the eastern part of the Sinai peninsula or northwestern Arabia. I, personally, have walked alone with 19 camels in that Sinai desert. There, under the tutelage of God, Moses learned how to control himself . . . and how to control a flock. After that, he became Israel's pastor for 40 years. Think about YOUR lifestyle. You may have to separate yourself from ungodly relationships or counter-productive relationships. INTERCEDE FOR OTHERS Six times Moses interceded for the lives of Israel. On one occasion, God told Moses that he would even wipe out the complaining Israelites and give Moses a NEW nation, greater and mightier than they, to start over. However, Moses interceded for the people and talked God into sparing them. (Numbers 14:11-24) After the incident where God judged Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, the children of Israel went immediately back to complaining, and accused Moses of killing them. Because of this, another 14,700 people died. (Numbers 16:41) Notice, "the children of Korah died not." (Numbers 26:11) Years later, we read about the children (descendants) of Korah being ministers in the tabernacle (1 Chronicles 9:19). They also wrote many Psalms. God had warned the people to depart from the rebels and get away from their tents before judgment fell. Evidently, someone in Korah's family made a quality decision. There is a truth here: You may have to walk away from a relationship . . . or a relative . . . at some time in your life. But only do it after MUCH PRAYER, seeking God's will and not yours; and KNOWING it is what God wants at that time! It doesn't mean that you don't love them, or that you're not willing to help them. Read Genesis Chapter 13 and Mark 10:29. Above all, never forget what Jesus promised you, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5) And . . . always forgive! Forgiveness can save most relationships. God is our perfect model. In the Book of Hosea, God pictures Israel as a harlot gone away from her husband. After all the times Israel disobeyed God, as a disobedient wife, He still promises her a glorious future: "I will betroth you to Me forever; yes I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and justice, in loving kindness and mercy; I will betroth you to me in faithfulness, and you shall know the LORD." (Hosea)

MESSIAH WILL TAKE HIS AUTHORITY THROUGH YOU TODAY THE POWER OF THE ENEMY WILL BE BROKEN

Jesus, the Messiah of Israel, will take his authority through you today!

When Jesus comes on the scene the tempter's power is broken! I remember one time I was preaching on the streets in a large metropolitan city―where I could reach thousands in a few hours with my loudspeaker―and a demonized man came up to me. Literallly he wanted to rip me apart. He was full of the devil. He had no shirt. Usually in a metropolitan area a man has at least has a tee shirt on. This fellow was giantly huge and I'll tell you, I didn't know what to do. However, instantly the Lord Jesus Christ dropped two verses into my heart. The first verse was where Jesus said, "Behold, I give you power over all the enemy and nothing shall by any means harm you." The second verse was where Jesus said, "I beheld Satan fall as lightning."

I spoke these two verses to the demons inside the man. When I said to the man, Jesus said, "I give you power over all the enemy and nothing shall by any means harm you," I didn't notice any difference. But when I spoke the second verse and said, Jesus said, "I beheld Satan fall as lightning," the bare-chested demonized man fell to the ground in this busy metropolitan shopping district and started doing pushups on the sidewalk. Well, that drew a large crowd … and he started doing more and more pushups—and he didn't do just a few pushups―He did many. I thought he was going to burst his biceps. I thought to myself, "I don't know what I'm going to do if he gets up, but I know one thing: I have two verses that I will speak to him."

Wouldn't you know … he got up again and I said, "Jesus said, 'I give you power over all the enemy and nothing shall by any means harm you.'" "Jesus said, 'I beheld Satan fall as lightning.'" And when I said that … Boom! He hit the ground again and started doing more pushups! He did many―LOTS of pushups―and I couldn't tell you how long that happened until an even greater crowd had gathered. Finally some men came along in blue uniforms (known as policemen) and escorted that man away. It doesn't matter how God works in your life, just so He works! Take your authority―use your God-given authority―in Messiah Jesus.

My friend, here is a SECRET >>> Sometimes God uses the enemy so that Messiah Jesus can be glorified in the hearts and lives of people. My friend, Messiah Jesus is the Lord ... Messiah Jesus is the Victor. Messiah Jesus is the Master. He is God! If you will let Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) take his authority through you today, it will change your whole life. Possibly, your situation may be a little different than the one I've just described. There MAY seem to be NO reason for you to exercise your authority at this particular moment; but the important thing is to be prepared so that at any given moment you can loose Messiah's power into your situation.

Messiah Yeshua has already defeated the devil by His shed blood on the cross-stake. You can utilize your authority by knowing your birthright and declaring Messiah's shed blood over you (and over that situation that concerns you) in the Name of Jesus. The Bible says, "They overcame him [the devil] by the blood of the Lamb and by the Word of their testimony ..." (Revelation 12:10) Let Messiah's power be loosed through you today. Speak the words of truth. As the Holy Angel of God contended with the devil over the body of Moses, he said, "The Lord rebuke you, Satan."

Because of Messiah Jesus―the stronger man―you can go in and tear up the strong man's house. The Bible says you cannot tear up a man's house unless you first bind him. When the religious leaders questioned Yeshua about his authority to cast out demons (they accused him of being demon-possesed himself), He answered:

"How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. In fact, no one can enter a strong man's house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man's house."

Yeshua (Jesus) / Brit Chadashah: Mark 3:23-27

So when you learn to use the Name of Messiah Jesus to bind Satan―through faith―you can go in and tear up his house. The Bible says in First Corinthians Chapter 11 that "the head of every man is Messiah." Whether men realize it or not, Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) is their head, their God-appointed (and anointed) Leader. Only by repentance and faith in Him can people receive His Lordship―and therefore His authority―and be blessed.

Someday every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God, the Father. Every militant's knee, every political leader's knee, every school board chairman's knee, every preacher's and rabbi's knee, every child's knee, and every parent's knee will bow and confess that Jesus is Lord. And that's why we might as well do it before it's too late!

Messiah is the head of every man. When we recognize His headship … when we recognize that Messiah came to cover, to protect, to empower us, and to use us as his hands―His instruments―extended in the earth, then we can loose his power to deliver others. If you come under the headship of Messiah Jesus today, God will do MIRACLES through you.

The head of every man is Messiah. The Bible teaches that in the home there is a rule of order: it's a spiritual relationship. And by the way, when God has a power rule―that is when he has a chain of authority―it's always anointed and oiled in love.

"But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Messiah, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Messiah is God."1 Corinthians 11:3

LEARN FROM THIS: Would a person select you to run a big company―and give you authority to do the same―IF you could not run your own family? This is WHY the Scriptures exhort us that a Rabbi or Pastor should be a person who can rule his own house.

"For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the House of God?" - Brit Chadashah: 1 Timothy 3

Satan's plan in the home is to destroy it. Satan's plan is to have the wife tear the husband down when he's gone … and to have the husband tear the wife down in front of the kids when she's gone. But the house that Jesus builds edifies and blesses one another. The wife is teaching the children, "You've got that greatest father in the world." Those kids know that their father is the head of the home; and that Christ is his head. And then one day when the father is home, he says to his children, "You have got the greatest mother in the world." And they say, "I know that daddy's over mother in the Lord. And mother says he's the greatest. And he is telling us that she is super. If she's that great … that makes dad even greater." You can't do anything but profit by blessing, by building up each other!

IDENTIFY YOUR BATTLE: The war between God and Satan is similar to World War II when I was a young boy. For sometime after World War II, some elements still remained fighting (ever after the surrender by Germany and Japan). At the cross-stake of Messiah Yeshua, Satan was defeated. But small battles may crop up until our Leader, Yeshua, returns to gather up the rebellious spirits and people and cast them into an Eternal Fire pit. These attacks and opposition in our lives are not the big War—it has already been won by our Lord. Our conflicts are won by using FAITH and the AUTHORITY of Messiah Yeshua, who already WON the War.

NOTICE: You cannot fight by your own natural power if you want to win your "spiritual" battle. Demons―evil spirits―have supernatural strength. But remember … Holy Angels who are sent to "minister for them who are heirs of salvation" (Hebrews 1:14) have MORE and BETTER supernatural strength. The only way that you can win your war against demonic power is by the supernatural power of God's Holy Spirit: "Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might." (Ephesians 6:10). At times, you may want to also enlist the help of the Holy Angels, but realizing that you must use the Name of Jesus (or Yeshua) in FAITH with AUTHORITY.

"And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Messiah Jesus."- Brit Hadashah: Ephesians 2:6

I want to ask you a question. If Messiah is over all the first things―and over Satan and dominions and the lordships of the spirit world―then are you not over them? And you are part of His Body, the feet of which are over these things. That's why He tells you in Ephesians Chapter Two that you have been raised together to sit in heavenly places in Messiah. You may not feel like you're there, but you are … and you don't have to understand why when the devil questions you. Start attacking your problems from above: where Messiah sits at the right hand of God, the Father. All you have to do is RECEIVE and USE His authority in faith: the authority Messiah has already granted you and purchased by His shed blood. You CAN … and MUST take your God-given authority: the authority of Messiah Yeshua, God's Son!

DON'T WEAR YOURSELF DOWN: The Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) is God's Agent on Planet Earth to supply the resurrection POWER of Messiah and help us defeat the "hangers-on" (the demonic powers, including Satan) that still do NOT believe (or admit) they have already been defeated by our Leader―the greatest Jew alive today―on the cross-stake AND in Heaven!

One time a man tried to strike me from behind, cursed me violently, and the Spirit of God said to me, "Let me handle this situation." He was in his late thirties and he died within two days of a brain hemorrhage.

Another time a woman came into my house without me knowing (when I was gone) and gave a false prophecy about me to the wife. Within two days, her whole house was destroyed to the ground―without one stick protruding from the dirt. Take your authority in Messiah today, but do it in love.

Lead your family. Lead those over whom God has entrusted you as mentor … and let Messiah take His authority through you today!

IT MATTERS TO GOD ABOUT YOU GOD IS GOING TO UNLOCK YOU TODAY

It matters to God about you … and He is going to unlock you today!

The Apostle Paul was a free man. He was God's man. Paul was as free in jail as he was in the open air at Areopagus (Mars Hill / Acts 17:19-34) preaching the gospel. He was as free in prison as he was preaching on the streets in the marketplaces of the world. Paul knew how to transmit the freedom he had experienced with those to whom he ministered. No prison―no country―can keep the Spirit of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) locked up … and in like manner, no prison can keep the Spirit of Jesus Christ inside it. The Spirit of God and the Word of God are never bound. From the Creation of the world the Word of God and the Spirit of God have worked together! (Torah: Genesis 1:1-3)

And if you align yourself with the Holy Spirit today―if you align yourself with the Word of God today―Messiah Jesus will unlock people all around you. God wants you free, my friend. He wants you to be a free spirit so that he can bless those around you. Like things produce like things … and death cannot minister life.

A person who is bound cannot minister freedom. But if you're free today, you can unlock those around you. You can minister the life of Jesus, the love of God, and the healing power of Christ wherever you go: to the marketplace, to the petrol station, to your church, to your synagogue, to your city hall. God wants you free. God does NOT want you bound: to men, to the organizations of men, to financial obligations, not even to your church or synagogue.

I can say to you today that I am free. I owe no man anything but to love him. The Bible works. If you will ground yourself in the Word of God, it will exude itself into those around you. The Messiah Jesus paid too great a price―His own blood―for you NOT to be free. He shed his own blood as the Lamb of God for your liberty!

Only when you are free can God anoint your individuality. Can you give God's LIFE away today? Not unless you are free. But if you are free today … and if the Spirit of God is anointing you as an individual―as a beautiful flower that God is blossoming―you can give God's life to your family, to your church, to your synagogue, to your community, and to the world. God sent his Son to earth that you might be totally FREE. God's Son, Yeshua, came to earth that you could be totally free: from fear, from man, from financial obligation, from sin, from mental oppression, from sickness, and all the works of the devil that would bind you.

The Blood of Jesus contains God's life. He was born of a virgin by a MIRACLE of the Holy Spirit. His Blood did NOT contain sin from the seedline of Adam, the first human! Jesus' Blood will never lose its power … and He is going to unlock YOU today!

The Apostle Paul was a man who knew no bondage. You do NOT have to know bondage: in any area of your life! The Apostle Paul was in prison, but it was from there that he loosed the Good News of the Lord Jesus: forgiveness of sins and freedom to all the world. Paul in those four walls loosed his great writings to the messianic synagogues and the churches. There with chains upon his wrists and body, he reached the Roman guard―the great militarists of the day―with the love of Jesus Christ that knows no chains. There, in the great Roman Empire, he reached the political leaders with the love and the forgiveness of God.

What is your situation today? What are your straights today? Does it look like you're hemmed in … shut up? Get your eyes up and look at God today. It's just the time when you think you have NO resources, NO strength, NO way out or up … that God loves to work for YOU … IF you will call upon Him in faith!

"Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me." - Psalm 50:15

Your bank account MAY have you bound. I'm NOT talking about poverty-consciousness … I'm talking about Proverbs 23:4: "Labor NOT to be rich." You may be honestly endeavoring to increase your resources out of financial wisdom; however, have you asked God about it? "You can NOT serve God and money!" Maybe God is wanting YOU to spend LESS time working for money and more time doing His Work: teaching the Word; reaching people for Christ; helping widows and orphans!

Just the time when your bank account seems empty … just the time when you have no encouragement from those around you (even those nearest and dearest to you) … just the time when it seems there are no facilities AND no abilities … that's the time the Spirit of God will use you more greatly than ever before. That's when God will get all the glory! You and your friends―your enemies and all those around you―will know it's not you.

That's the situation where God's strength will be manifest. "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." When you're stretched out on God … you're free to loose the power of Christ to the earth! But if you're bound in your spirit, you cannot do that. Messiah Jesus wants you to walk in the liberty that he bought for YOU on the cross-stake, The Bible tells us in the Book of Galatians, "Stand fast in the Liberty wherewith Messiah has set you free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."

LEARN THIS PRINCIPLE OF CREATIVE WORKS FOR MIRACLE EXPLOITS

I'm going to share a principle with you today so that you can be an open vessel―a free spirit like the Apostle Paul―through whom God can flow his creative glory. Paul was anointed by the Holy Spirit in a creative ministry. Look at his preaching. Look at his writing. Look at his Apostleship.

In Job 22:28 we read, "You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you ..." In the original Hebrew language the word "decree" is a primitive root form of the word "gazar", which means "to cut out exclusively, or to decide". In its primitve form it is used also as a "quarrying" term ... as in cutting out stone from a rock quarry. It means more than to "say" or "speak". It conveys the meaning of "cutting something out in your mind's eye"; that is, "to envision [to make a vision], to decide upon it, and confess it" ... and then it will be established unto you!

How many times have you had a thought that played out? Maybe it was something good that you really wanted . . . or maybe it was something you were afraid of. I was talking to a person on the phone recently who was not a believer and who said to me, "Whenever I have a thought about something it happens to me."

Learn to spend quality time meditating and thinking―visualizing in the mind's eye of your heart―the GREAT THINGS you want to do for God … or that you want God to do through you ... or for you!

I share this principle to teach you how to become a vessel through whom God can do creative works. You can sit down in your own house―or in your own hotel room or prison cell―and be used of God to reach millions for Messiah Jesus from around the world.

God can reach the world from your aluminum shed in the backyard. My friend, this may seem too great for you. If it is, you won't be interested in it; however, if you believe that God's Holy Spirit can NOT be confined, then learn to operate in this principle… and you need to teach this principle to your friends, family and those you mentor!

I want you to notice that when Paul wrote the Book of Galatians, he said, "Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect by the flesh?" My friend, you may be the greatest man or woman that God has touched in this decade, but have you begun in the Spirit and are you now continuing in the flesh? Do NOT let religion strap what God originated in your life. God loves you so much … and He loves the millions of people that need the blessing and enlargement of God's Spirit in their life.

Let me ask you this. "Are you trying to make your children an extension of your personality? Are you trying to change your husband or your wife or your family … instead of letting God change them the way he wants to?" You may be a perfectionist―and there's nothing wrong with perfectionism because God is perfect―but when stretched beyond the point of practicality it is wrong. My friend, do NOT put a saddle on what God started by His Holy Spirit. Don't try to become perfect by the working of the flesh. Many times God will place his hand upon a person and open up great doors. He will anoint that ministry and give the person great wisdom to do the works of God, and then―after a few years―that same person looks back and says, "I see a way that I can improve upon what God originally started." Then he or she tries perfecting that ministry in the flesh.

Be free. Let the love of God flow through you today. You don't have to be bound to sickness. I am as healthy as can be; by God's grace I have been healed many times … and for every thing for which I have ever needed healing. You don't have to be bound to debts. When I wanted my first house, I paid cash for it. When I want equipment to use for God's work, I pay cash for it … and I say that to the glory of God because his Word is true! He says, "Open your mouth wide and I will fill it. (Psalm 81:10) He says, "By the stripes of Messiah Jesus, you are healed." (Isaiah Chapter 53) Don't be bound. Be FREE. God is the Creator. Let him create through you today. Let him reach the masses of the people with the love and the message of Messiah Jesus. God wants to heal you and raise you out of that bed today. He wants you to walk out of that wheelchair today. God wants to deliver you right now. If YOU are in debt, be free! Owe no man anything but love! The Blood of Jesus shed on the cross-stake bought you … and that blood will never lose its power.

To be creative, you have to be perfectly free. You have to be an open vessel like the Apostle Paul. You can start being used in a creative ministry right away. Don't worry if you've never been creative before in your life. The Spirit of God works with the Word of the Creator … and produces creative MIRACLES.

GOD IS GOING TO MAKE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL OUT OF YOUR LIFE TODAY UNDERSTANDING GOD'S TRANSITIONS

God is going to make something beautiful out of your life today!

MUSIC

Elijah had a beautiful life because he was beautifully obedient to the will of God. Yet there were a lot of times that he probably said, "God, what is it now? Why are you doing this now?"

And yet God had a man here that could believe God, not only for great ministry to the leader of the nation―not only for great prophetic messages to deliver―but he could believe God for the provision of his life in day to day circumstances. He was as much a man of faith in the little things of life as he was on the mountain top. I want to tell you today that there is no shortage in God's love for you, my friend―no shortage in God's mercy―no shortage in God's provision for you today. What do you need today? God wants to make something beautiful out of your life … because there's no shortage in His Kingdom.

MUSIC

Elijah sure had a running experience with God. Every day he was stretched out. Every day he had to lean on God. God would never let him rest in faith. You might say, "But I thought that the walk with Christ was a faith-rest walk." It is, but you rest by not stopping; you rest by not retiring. You rest by NOT being upon the shelf―latent as a servant of God―retiring from the field. You cannot do it, brothers and sisters. You cannot do it because God has not designed that you stop being a servant. And if you're on the shelf today, there's only one way off. That's to jump! You can't slide off the shelf. You can't climb down. You have to jump. And when you jump out into the arena of faith, you will obligate God to pick you up. You may be bored today and if so, it's because you're not moving in faith.

I want to tell you that Messiah Jesus will thrill the depths of your soul every day of your life―IF you let Him. I've never had a bad day since I've met Jesus. There have been some days that I've had some problems―but instantly as I loosed them to Messiah Jesus―they were no problems any longer because he dissolved them. Jesus wants to come into your life with POWER as He did into Elijah's life to let you be a vessel that he can bless … so that you can be a blessing wherever you go. You see, God wants to bless you, that you may be a blessing. Elijah down at the brook of water leaned on God just as much as he did when he went to deliver a message to the king. And at the brook, when the water ran out, he leaned upon God again. Elijah realized there was a transition in his life.

He realized that change was coming up. He said, "God, you sent me to this brook; you sent me down here and I obeyed you … but the water's running out. As a matter of fact, God, it's dry." And then he realized this was one of those times when God had a change coming up. You may be in that situation today. God may seen very far from you, but he's not. He's not, my friend. God is right in the depths of your soul IF you're seeking him today. And God wants you to know that there is a change in your life from time to time―there is a transitional period―but this is the MOST important time to lean on God in faith. It's at the very time you think God's done using you, that God is getting ready to use you MORE than He ever has before.

It's that very time the enemy would try to throw oppression and depression into your midst that God is getting ready to lead you into a powerful work that will smite Satan and flood the earth with God's Glory.

DON'T QUIT DON'T MISS YOUR MIRACLE

My friend, that's the time you need to realize there's a transition in your life. You see, Elijah was in that period. He probably could have murmured. He could have complained. He probably wondered, "What is it God, what is it this time? Why do you reveal great things to me concerning others and yet in my own life, I don't understand what you're doing many times?" And then the Spirit of God dropped an air of faith into his heart and said, "Elijah, you're in a transition … you're in a transition." You may be there today, my friend. Listen to God, because God MAY have a different option for your life.

God said to Elijah, "Option A is completed, Elijah. Now I want you to go to a widow's house." And then Elijah thought, "Oh, that's why the rains stopped. I remember I spoke a word of faith to the King and said, there won't be any dew these years ... there won't be any rain these years, according to the Word of the Lord." Elijah realized he was eating his prayers―that in God's Providence―God had designed the best for him. God wants the best for you, my friend. God wants to bless you today abundantly, so you can be a blessing to the nations of the world … and to everyone with whom you come in contact. Elijah probably realized, "I see it now. God has something new, something different." So he went to Zarephath. By the way, "Zarephath" [in Hebrew] means "Refinement." God refines his prophets. God refines his servants. And if you've been fruitful in the kingdom of God, God is going to refine YOU because he wants you to be MORE productive: to bring forth more fruit.

Remember, Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) said, "I am the vine. You are the branches ... Without me, you can do nothing. And every branch that brings forth fruit, my Father will purge it." You see, He's going to prune it so that it can bring forth more fruit. God prunes only those that are bringing forth fruit … so that they can be more fruitful, not just in the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control ... but as the Christian bears fruit. A lemon tree brings forth lemons, a Christian brings for Christians. So Elijah went to the widow's house and he was hungry. He probably thought, "I thank God I can go to a widow's house instead of letting those ravens feed me." So he went to her and said, "I would like some water to drink."

The widow lady said, "I will get you a drink of water." And as she was going, Elijah said, "I would like a little bread, also, would you make me a little cake?" She answered, "I can't do that. I've just got enough grain left for me and my son." As a matter of fact, she said, "I'm going out to pick up some sticks to make a fire so we can cook our last meal. My son and I will eat the last of our meal, and I only have a little cooking oil left … and we're going to die here." And Elijah spoke something to her that was seemingly preposterous. He said, "Bake me a little cake first!" (Something inside that widow lady let her know that this was a Prophet of God speaking to her.) She made Elijah a little cake from the last grain she had left for her and her family! The Bible tells us that God multiplied that meal. And she and her house did eat many days until the day that God sent rain back upon the earth. Then … God had another option for Elijah!

I am certain that God didn't send Elijah to the widow's house so much for himself as he did for the widow's sake. For Elijah was used to living by faith. Elijah was used to having God provide for him, but the widow was not. My friend, God may be designing things in your life, and this change―this period of transition in your life―has some new things that are approaching you in the Spirit. God says to YOU, "I have designed nothing for you, my child, except the best. I want to bless you." Open up and receive everything God has for you today. You may not know what God's doing, but God will never deny you anything (or anyone) ... except to give you something (or someone) better!

When Elijah was in Option A at the brook, God provided for him naturally through ravens, but when he went to Option B at the widow's house in Zarephath, God provided for him supernaturally by the multiplication of food. You see, it doesn't matter how God works … just so He works. It doesn't matter whether God works naturally or supernaturally, just so he works. And my friend, God may work differently in your life today than he did last year or last month. He may work differently in your life than he does in the life of another believer, but it doesn't matter how God works in your life, just so he works! Today … God wants to come in and touch your life. There's no shortage in God's Kingdom.
