Computer scientist Bill Joy, and many other writers, have identified cluster groups of technological advances that they esteem critical to the future of humanity. Joy warns that these advances have potential to be used by "elites" for either good or evil. For example, when super humans become advanced—enhanced—to a stage where the ordinary normal human is no longer relevant other than for "slave" activities, then genocide—mass destruction—of the normal humans will become efficient in terms of Global Governance. Joy and other writers feel that such techno-human advances could be used as "good shepherds" for the rest of humanity … OR … decide everyone else—the normal original human—that would be YOU and ME—is superfluous and push for mass extinction of those made unnecessary by technology.

God not only wants to meet your NEEDS, but He wants to give you the DESIRES of your heart. This teaching will teach you how to get out of any situation that has you bound. LET ME REPEAT: There is absolutely NO situation in your life that can bind you if you will follow your heart as God leads you. God not only wants to meet your NEEDS, but He wants to give you the DESIRES of your heart. "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart." [Psalm 37:4] The Hebrew word for "delight" in this passage means, "have pleasurable emotion." In other words, ENJOY Jesus! Whether through praise, dancing, prayer, works, singing in tongues, fellowship―delight yourself in Him―and He will give you the [good] desires of your heart. God GIVES you the desires of your heart in a two-fold manner, like an engine and a caboose on a train:

By allowing the desires in your heart as you walk with Him; By granting the desires after you walk in obedience to Him.

Notice the time factor: between the "engine" and the "caboose." There is a segment of time (sometimes almost instantaneous), but more usually an elapsed time of days, years, or maybe decades. You have SPIRITUAL desires: to be used by God, for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to operate through you, or to be a blessing to people and nations. You also have material desires: for a house, car, furniture, food, and clothing. Remember … the enemy, the devil, does NOT want you to have any of your good desires! He will tell you, "God doesn't want to use you; that's just your imagination." But he is lying to you. Hang on to that vision! The Bible tells us in Romans 2:28-29, "For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise*** is not from men but from God." *** Notice that the word "praise" here is a play on words. "praise" is literally "Jew". Whose praise (hou ho epainos). The antecedent of the relative hou is Ioudaios (Jew). Probably a reference to the etymology of Judah (praise) as seen in Genesis 49:8 in the Torah. There is a place in man where God has a spiritual center: it is the "heart" … or the "spirit" of man. Ezekiel prophesied to the house of Israel that in the last days, "[God] will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land." "I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within you." [Ezekiel 36:24, 26] "Therefore, if any man is IN Christ, he is a NEW creation; old things have passed away, behold all things have become new." [2 Corinthians 5:17] The Apostle Peter wrote about "the hidden person of the heart." [1 Peter 3:4] God not only gives you the desires of your heart, but He will LEAD YOU by your heart if you are following Him, living for Him. But if you're not following God, don't follow your heart. "The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of the heart." [Proverbs 20:27] Have you ever had a time when you were struggling between two choices―two alternative decisions you could make? But ... you made a bad decision. Afterwards you felt sick in your spirit―you felt like glue! You DID NOT LISTEN to your hidden (inner man) … the spirit man of your heart. "For as many are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God." Even a person who is not a Christian can know things in his human spirit. Man is a spirit being made in the image of God. However, if a person who is NOT living for God makes a BAD decision there is no guarantee he can be free. He may pay for his bad choice the rest of his life. But the person who lives for Christ has spiritual power so that he or she can become FREE; he or she does not have to be bound by that bad choice. There is a way out! I ministered with a friend who was an attorney and had been sent to prison for life. While he was serving his life sentence in a Federal Prison (USA) he became a Christian. He prayed for a MIRACLE release. One day not announced to him, and completely unexpected, guards came to him and escorted him to an area where he was released. He then became a minister. Sometimes we make bad mistakes, or choices. When this happens there are four (4) things you can do for your deliverance: Pray and ask God to smite Satan (even through the bad decision) and turn the situation around for God's glory. Ask God for a MIRACLE. Give God a gift offering (it may be your time, service, or money) ahead of time as "faith―as thanks" for turning the situation around. Find a promise or promises in God's Word which pertain to your situation and lean on them: speak them out regularly in your fellowship with the Lord. Take authority over Satan in the name of Jesus, the Messiah, and "break" the power of the bad decision. Speak and command the power of the bad decision or choice to be broken in the name of Jesus Christ, God's Son and Messiah! There is NO situation in life that can bind you if you will surrender to Christ and follow your heart as God leads you!

All processes in the universe are basically energy conversion. In the area of quantum physics, time and relationship are of primal importance. The perspective from which―or, in which―we look at things makes a big difference in our world view―and our universe view―and ultimately in our eternal view. God could have created the heavens and the Planet Earth in six nanoseconds if He had wanted to. There was a reason he chose six literal 24-hour days to do so. This teaching will explain HOW we can know―and WHY we should know―the Bible account of Creation is true. Also, scientific fact will be presented to prove why evolution could NOT be the answer for creation; this should help build your faith in a literal interpretation of the Creation account in Genesis Chapter One. _____________________________________ CREATION OF HEAVENS AND EARTH For the purpose of disclosure, let me assert that I am a graduate engineer. I received my B.S. in Industrial Engineering before attending 11 other colleges and universities. At the first institution I was the only student to ever receive a grade of 100 for the semester in the field of Electro Chemistry (which is by no means an easy subject―it is NOT even taught at many schools of higher learning). During one of the different psychology classes I have taken my I.Q. was ascertained to be 165, which is well above the floor of genius level. I am by no means brilliant, but I do understand certain laws of physics and science, and have worked in those areas, writing my thesis in a chemical laboratory, and working consistently in research and development using instruments such as the Atom Counter as well as the usual instrumentation for determining qualitative and quantitative analyses. My views are based―not from the standpoint of one who believes the Bible is the Word of God, although I do―but from the standpoint of one who has studied and worked in the fields of science and engineering. As an engineer I could no more believe in the theory of evolution than the cow jumping over the moon. Not only is there NO evidence that evolution has ever taken place, but there is solid evidence that evolution could NEVER take place. Evolution could not even be possible because it violates both the First and Second Law of Thermodynamics. I will explain below. SECOND LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS The Second Law of Thermodynamics is also known as the Entropy Principle, which is one of the most universal and fixed laws known to science. "There is a general natural tendency of all observed systems to go from order to disorder, reflecting dissipation of energy available for future transformation—the law of increasing entropy." All processes in the universe are basically energy conversion. Thermodynamics is a compound of two Greek words, therme ("heat") and dunamis ("power"). It is the science of heat energy (or, heat power) and its conversion to other forms of energy. Everything that exists in the universe is some form of energy, and everything that happens is a type or form of energy conversion. With this in mind, let us discuss the First Law of Thermodynamics. FIRST LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS One of the best definitions for the First Law is from Isaac Asimov: "In the Game of Energy and Thermodynamics You Can't Break Even," Smithsonian Institute Journal: "Energy can be transferred from one place to another, or transformed from one form to another, but it [energy] can be neither created nor destroyed. Or, we can put it another way: The total quantity of energy in the universe is constant. When the total quantity of something does not change, we say that it is conserved. The two statements given above, then, are two ways of expressing 'the law of conservation of energy.' This law is considered the most powerful and most fundamental generalization about the universe that scientists have ever been able to make." Before we go on, let's consider something Asimov said. "Energy … can be neither created nor destroyed." Energy can NOT be created because God is the only One Who can create energy and He ceased creative process in the universe after the first six days. That is the purpose for the Sabbath: to rest from our labor, to receive BLESSING from God, and to reflect on the creative glory and goodness of God. (Torah: Genesis 2:3) On the other hand, energy can NOT be destroyed because God upholds all things in creation by the Word of His power (Hebrews 1:3). In the area of quantum physics, time and relationship are of primal importance. Many theories relating to time have been developed over the years. Probably the most famous is that developed by Albert Einstein: the Theory of Relativity. I read his work as a young boy. The derived formula "E = mc2," or "energy equals mass times the velocity of light squared," was praised for decades as the frontier of thought in this area; however, recent scientific postulation and research has leaned toward discrediting part, if not all, of this theory. Even in the most advanced area of quantum physics today, it is known that the universe at its core is some sort of relationship of energy that we can NOT control. In the area of string theory today, the comparison picture (relational size and properties) is this: the universe is to the earth, as the earth is to an atom, as an atom is to a "string" (that is, a string in string theory). The issue is not the big-ness or the out-ness … or the small-ness or the in-ness … but the real issue is multiple dimensions of reality. In other words, not "either - or" but "yes – and." String theorists now say they can prove eleven (11) dimensions of reality, and maybe 12, 13 or 14. The perspective from which―or, in which―we look at things makes a big difference in our world view―and our universe view―and ultimately in our eternal view. If we look at things in a dream world, as the evolutionist does (even in our human three-dimensional perspective), where there is NO sustainable evidence – from the past or present – we are saying willingly in our heart (and NOT our mind) - "There is NO God." At least, NOT the Creator God. "The fool has said in his heart, 'There is NO God." (Psalm 14:1) The present underpinning of the universe is conservation of energy, not creation. No creation in the universe has taken place since the first six days. The evolutionist has NO valid answer to the following questions: 1. Where did all the energy come from in the first place (Who started everything); and, 2. Why is energy constant (being conserved)? The First Law of Thermodynamics is a strong scientific testimony against evolution because it proves constancy and stability in the universe. However, the Second Law of Thermodynamics is even more potent in that it completely obliterates any rationale for evolutionary thinking. R.B. Lindsay, in his article in American Scientist, titled, "Entropy Consumption and Values in Physical Science," states: "It is in the transformation process that Nature appears to exact a penalty and this is where the second principle makes its appearance. For every naturally occurring transformation of energy is accompanied, somewhere, by a loss in the availability of energy for the future performance of work." In any energy conversion there is an amount of energy which becomes UNavailable for subsequent processes or work. It will be nonrecoverable. The late Henry Morris, PhD., states this succinctly: "Thus, the Second Law proves, as certainly as science can prove anything whatever, that the universe had a beginning. Similarly, the First Law shows that the universe could not have begun itself. >>> The total quantity of energy in the universe is a constant, but the quantity of available energy is decreasing. Therefore, as we go backward in time, the available energy would have been progressively greater until, finally, we would reach the beginning point, where available energy equaled total energy. Time could go back no further than this. At this point both energy and time must have come into existence. Since energy could not create itself, the most scientific and logical conclusion to which we could possibly come is that: 'In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.'" Isaac Asimov stated, "The universe is constantly getting more disorderly." All real processes―chemical, physical, biological, geological―go from order to disorder: the exact opposite of evolutionary theory. When something is new (whether it be a life form or a manufactured object) it takes on the condition of a closed state. A baby formed in the life of its mother, when it exits the womb, is an example of this: it grows older and eventually dies. A new building is another example: through time, corrosion, decay, weathering, and stress take their toll. Everything deteriorates by itself. PLUS ... there are NO observable processes of development from a lower order to a higher order or from disorder to order. In six literal 24 hour days, the LORD God made the heavens and the Planet Earth. God is God. He did NOT need the help of so called evolutionary processes―millions or billions of years between each Day of Creation―to help Him create. God could have created the heavens and the Planet Earth in six nanoseconds if He had wanted to. He gave us a practical and orderly example that we could relate to: work six days and rest one. That creation is exactly that time period is verified in the Ten Commandments (Torah: Exodus Chapter 20): "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days shall you labor, and do all your work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God; In it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor the stranger that is within your gates; For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: Wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and made it holy." Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) validated the CREATION account in the Torah, referring to Genesis: "But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female;" and by his statement, "The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath." (Brit Chadashah: Mark 10:6, Matthew 19:4-6, Mark 2:27) The main reason that many people who claim to know the LORD and who are conservative or orthodox Jews, or conservative or orthodox Christians, swing toward evolutionary creationism is because they are ashamed to take a stand for a literal six day 24 hour day creation week. They feel they will be laughed at by friends, colleagues, and others. They are bowing at the throne of Darwin and the throne of political correctness which is very dangerous. Can you claim to be a follower of The Messiah but NOT believe in a literal interpretation of the very Creation account that Yeshua validated?! I trust this teaching has helped you. I want to talk to you today about HOW and WHY God does MIRACLES of appointment ,,, and the importance of listening to the Voice of God: the Holy Spirit speaking to YOU.

I will share some examples that happened as the LORD spoke to me by His Spirit while I was driving in Jerusalem. However, nothing would have transpired IF I had NOT obeyed WHAT He was telling me to do.

Sometimes the LORD will instruct us to do things that seem impossible … or unrealistic … or just plain stupid. Don't try to figure it out … just obey!

MIRACLES AT JERUSALEMOBEY – DON'T QUESTION~ A MIRACLE PODCAST PRODUCTION ~

I want to talk to you today about listening to God. I was reading the news today about Israel, and Jerusalem, and the forces that are facing against them―and trying to destroy―them. My mind kept rolling over the great victories that God has given Israel in the past. My friend, if you want to experience great victories in your personal life, then YOU help Israel.

The Bible tells us, to "Pray for the peace of Yerushalayim. They will prosper that love her," so if you want to be blessed … YOU help the Jews―get on God's side. Don't be against God or you'll be on the losing side … and don't be against Israel or you'll be on the losing side. I was driving down the street in Jerusalem and going by what was at that time named the Jerusalem Hilton Hotel, (It is now named the David Citadel Hotel.)

It was snowing--a light snow in March―as I was driving by the hotel, the Spirit of God spoke to me and said, "I want you to go in and I want you to book facilities: I want you to hold a seminar for the Messiah." [What I want to speak to you specifically about today is listening to the Voice of God: the Spirit of God.] I went in to the hotel and I was directed to the Sales Manager, a man named Ya'aqov Avneri: Jacob Avneri.

We met and discussed the seminar I wanted to have; he asked me, "What is it that you want to do at the seminar?" I told him that I was a believer in the Mashiach―in the Messiah Yeshua―and I wanted to hold meetings for both Jews and Arabs: for whoever would like to attend. Mr. Avneri was a little―well, maybe a lot―hesitant. We begin to talk, and finally I noticed a college ring on Jacob's hand. I said, "Ya'aqov, where did you go to university?" He said, "At the University of Nevada in Las Vegas," and I said, "I used to live in Las Vegas."

We began to talk back and forth and we started really enjoying one another ... so Ya'aqov said to me, "You know what? I'm going to lease you the facilities," … "but there's one condition." and I said, "What's that?" He said, "You're going to have to allow us to do the catering." But even before that the Holy Spirit had instructed me, "Whatever he says to you, do it. Agree with it," so I said, "Well, how much will that cost, Jacob?"

He began to tell me the cost and I'm, "Whoa!" The facilities were expensive enough; but I remembered what God told me by His Spirit. He said, "Whatever he says, do it." I said, "Okay. Go ahead and cater the facilities." So I had a seminar there, and without any press release or anything, God brought in Jews, and Arabs, and all kinds of people. And it was a tremendous seminar! The Spirit of God began ministering in his gifts since I begin to share about Yeshua and there were miraculous healings.

One United Nations officer came to the seminar. He was a Major with the UN Forces. The Holy Spirit gave me a Word of Knowledge for him. (If you don't know what the word of knowledge is, it's where the Holy Spirit shows you a situation about someone or something, He reveals that situation. See my book: "How to Receive God's Power with Gifts of the Spirit." I gave the Word of Knowledge and the United Nations officer was dumbfounded. He was miraculously healed, and then the Lord baptized him in the Holy Spirit and he spoke in a new language: in tongues. [The language of the Spirit, speaking in tongues as we read about in the Jewish New Testament, in the B'rit Chadashah, in the Book of Acts Chapter 2.]

Well later that United Nations officer was able to get materials out of the country―out of Israel―to me in the United States. From the information in those materials―with God's help―I was able to reach tens of thousands of wonderful Jewish people in the land of Israel. A while later, a Jewish man called me from San Francisco. He was from Tiberias. He had a business in Tiberias. He was probably in his early '60s. I was in my publishing house when he called. I don't know how he was able to contact me because I had an unlisted phone number.

The man told me: "I will pay anything to meet you," I answered, "That is not necessary; I will meet you Thursday morning in the lobby of the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California." When he came into the lobby of the Disneyland Hotel, I recognized him from his description (what he would be wearing), We went out to the rear of the main lobby where all the water pools are and I talked to him for two hours from the Tanakh―the Hebrew Scriptures―and shared with him the scriptures dealing with the Mashiach (Messiah). The LORD opened his eyes―opened his heart―and he received Yeshua (Jesus) as his personal Messiah.

He was so happy ... and he pulled out of his briefcase a piece of literature that his daughter had received from Handley World Services. Now, as I said, he was in his early '60s, and his daughter had been raised and had her own family. As a result of the United Nations officer being healed and baptized in God's Spirit and speaking in tongues a few months before at the seminar, the Jewish daughter of the man I prayed with from Tiberias at the Disneyland Hotel received one of the pieces of literature that I sent to her.

After about six weeks she took it to her father, a businessman in Tiberias, Israel. They both realized it was a sign from God and that's why her father came all the way to the United States. Again, I never knew how he got my unlisted phone number; I forgot to ask him. He received Yeshua and I took him immediately back after that to the desk where he changed his flight and flew right back to Israel.

The point I want to make now is that it's important to listen to the Holy Spirit. Listen to God when He speaks to you. God may sometimes also give you an idea. Read my book, "Real Miracles for Normal People." It may not be an idea for you, it may be an idea for you to share with someone. We should be good stewards of the ideas that God gives us, so listen to the Voice of God, and then do what God tells you: obey Him. Then God will use YOU to help others. God will do MIRACLES―not only for you―but through you so that you can be blessed, be a blessing to those around you―AND―to those around the world.

But I have GOOD NEWS for you. Your Friend, Jesus Christ―the Messiah of Israel―will tell you the Truth. He is The Truth; His Word is Truth. Listen to the voice of God. Read His Word and learn from Him. Pray and hear His Spirit. Read and study "Listening to the Spirit."

Stop worrying about the giants in front of you: the forces, voices and beings that threaten you and keep you from being creative, productive and powerful. David had brothers who THOUGHT the giant, Goliath, was too big to fight. But David THOUGHT the giant was TOO BIG TO MISS! (1 Samuel 17:47.) Focus on God and THANK HIM for YOUR victory!

How do you SEE your challenges? How do you PERCEIVE them: as Obstacles … or as Opportunities? When Moses sent the 12 spies into the Promised Land the ten men of fear had a different perspective than the two men of faith, Caleb and Joshua. The men of fear saw the people of the land as giants and themselves as grasshoppers in their sight.

The 10 spies gave the people of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, "We are NOT able to go up against this people, for they are stronger than we are." But Caleb said, "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well ABLE to overcome." (Numbers 13:30)

The Hebrew word "able" used in this passage (yakol) means "to have power, or the capacity to prevail or succeed." My wonderful mother many times read me the little children's book about the train going up the hill, pulling a load, and saying, "I know I can ... I know I can ... I KNOW I can!"

David succeeded in killing the giant, Goliath, the same way the two men of faith, Caleb and Joshua, succeeded in entering the promise land: because he saw―as they did―obstacles as opportunities for MIRACLES: Avenues through which God could be glorified! The size of the person is more important than the size of the problem. Who are you on the inside and whom do you trust! Do not focus on the giants … focus on God. That is why the enemy lies to you. The devil wants to get your attention away from your Heavenly Father: away from God's love for you and His ability to provide for you. THANK GOD ahead for your victory!

I remember teaching my first born son how to sail. We were in a harbor of the ocean where many yachts and boats were maneuvering. My son kept his attention on another yacht … what to miss … instead of our tack (where we should be going). He was focusing on what to miss instead of where to go. So it is with many Christians: focusing on the giants instead of the opportunities and goals.

Stop worrying about whether you are going to sin and start praising and THANKING God for helping you to live holy!

Stop being concerned about failure and start praising and THANKING God for helping you to be successful.

Stop frustrating about being wiped out by cancer and start praising and THANKING Jehovah Rapha (the LORD your Healer) for healing you.

Stop concentrating on being broken and start praising and THANKING Jesus for making you whole. That is why He died on the cross ... but you must appropriate that wholeness by faith.

SECRET: Pray AHEAD OF TIME for what you're going to do AFTER YOUR VICTORY!

King Saul was an example of this. I think he had a fear of success. Pray AHEAD OF TIME and receive the anointing for what you are going to do AFTER YOUR VICTORY!

Nothing has the power to break selfishness more than service.

What IF this were your last night with family or friends? It was Jesus' last night with his followers … before He would go to the cross and pay for their―and our―sins. Remember He knew:

Judas would betray Him; Peter would deny Him; and, The other 10 would bail on Him.

But did He scold them … or whip them? No! He washed their feet. Let's reflect a little bit on the infrastructure of that day. There was NO sewer system in Jerusalem. Cows and animals roamed the streets. Many people threw their own personal sewage out the windows at night (still do in some countries). Human waste and animal feces were covering the streets. What do you imagine the disciples feet smelled―and looked―like???

Yet, Jesus clothed himself around the waste with a towel and washed their feet. (Remember … He knew HOW they were going to fail Him the next day.) It's interesting to note that there is NO archaeological evidence of any leader anywhere―at anytime―washing anyone's feet.

"So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you?"John 13:12

"Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God ..." John 13:3

Washing feet―in the Biblical sense―is NOT just a sanitary procedure, nor is it a religious observance (although some churches, such as The Brethren, still practice it today). But, you can see from the historical context (no sewer system in Jerusalem at that time) that it was really a service of sacrifice. What an example!

I want to expand on our concept of service here to include group service: that is, non-profit corporations and ministry associates: group service to the needy. Already, you may be thinking, "I'm not really ready―at this time―to serve in such a radical way." Or, you may be thinking, "I really want to get involved more with "in depth" service to the needy; however, I don't think my group of fellow asociates is ready." If so, I will share a tool that may help you.

First of all, true spirituality is seeing a need and meeting it. To help you mobilize your group, I recommend the 8-Step Process for Leading Change by Dr. John Kotter. Over four decades, Dr. Kotter observed countless leaders and organizations as they were trying to transform or execute their strategies. He identified and extracted the success factors and combined them into a methodology, the award-winning 8-Step Process for Leading Change.

You can also download an eBook for Accelerating Change on the website above. This may help you get your group moving as you prayerfully identify needs you want to address in your community, nation or the world. BUT remember … NO amount of physical drive―no matter HOW intense OR well meaning―can bring wholeness, healing or deliverance apart from the resurrection power of Jesus provided by the Holy Spirit.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD'S AGENT ON EARTH TO SUPPLY THE RESURRECTION POWER OF JESUS

To lead like Jesus you have to serve like Jesus (this includes kneeling down and getting dirty).

Jesus knew He was sent by God … and going back to God … but He was willing to get dirty in service. (He didn't even take a "selfie!")

You may be deciding right now that you would like to make a major impact in the world―YOUR VICTORIOUS NEW BEGINNING―but you're NOT sure that your followers (or, associates) would like to do so. By the way, you may not have a "group" yet, but after this teaching you will GROW a powerful group of associates in the future: People Changing Nations!

To help you with change management, I recommend Lewin's Change Management Model. Kurt Lewin, a physicist as well as a social scientist, explained organizational change using the analogy of changing the shape of a block of ice. The concept of "change management" is a familiar one today. But how ministries and prophetic triage groups manage change (and how successful they are at it) varies enormously depending on the nature of the ministry, the change … and the people involved. And a key part of this depends on how well people within it understand the change process. All too often, people go into change blindly, causing much unnecessary turmoil and chaos. Prepare yourself for what is coming and make a plan to manage the transition. Motivation for change must be generated before change can occur. The LORD will use this teaching to multiply and amplify your ministry of service!

What does a Prophet look like?

Service in LOVE can produce powerful results. Many times we can―if we are discerning―serve through language. It's interesting to note that unhappiness in marriage often has a simple root cause: we speak different love languages, believes Dr. Gary Chapman. While working as a marriage counselor for more than 30 years, he identified five love languages:

Words of Affirmation; Quality Time; Receiving Gifts; Acts of Service; and, Physical Touch.

Excuses we use NOT to serve.

I'm unqualified; I'm too busy; They don't need me; or, It's beneath me.

Speaking of the latter item above: "It's beneath me," there's a church I attend when I'm free. We baptized around 2,000 people the first six months of this year. There's a well known surgeon who attends … and every week he is in the kitchen flipping burgers. There's also a lady who is well known and very influential (she is a Cabinet member of the President), and every weekend she serves in the nursery taking care of―serving and loving―two year olds. This requires her to fly back and forth from the Washington, D.C. Beltway every weekend.

Reflect on this. Have you ever had these thoughts?

I know what I should do. I don't always want to do it. I'd like something in return.

Why I should serve.

Serving is NOT something you do. It's WHO you are!

"Now there was also a dispute among them, as to which of them should be considered the greatest." Luke 22;24

A life lived for YOU is a wasted life. (Even if you go to Heaven!)

"But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted." Matthew 23;11

When you act more like Jesus, you'll experience more of Him.

YOUR GREATEST CONTRIBUTION IN THIS LIFE WILL NOT BE SOMETHING YOU DO … BUT SOMEONE YOU SERVE

God is forming a special group for you to lead.

Has God given you a great victory, even used you to help people tremendously, and then you found that someone … maybe a Christian leader that was helped … was jealous of you, hated you?

Our beloved brother John wrote: "Whoever hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him." (I John 3:15)

David, the shepherd warrior, found himself in such a position. King Saul became jealous of him after David had slain Goliath to the point where Saul had even become overtaken by a demon power. Saul was hunting David to kill him.

"David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam; and when his brothers and all his father's house heard of it, they went down there to him. And everyone in DISTRESS, and everyone that was in DEBT, and everyone that was DISCONTENTED gathered themselves to him; and David became a captain over them; and there were with him about 400 men." (1 Samuel 22:1)

I call this "God's 3-D Group." God assembled a group of men together (later, it grew to 600) who had one of the following conditions:

Distress Debt Discontent

The dictionary defines "stress" as "a state of mental, emotional, or other strain." Whereas, "distress" is defined as "extreme anxiety or suffering." The Hebrew word for "distress" is "matsoq" and means "a narrow place, confinement, disability, or anguish," and so gives the picture of being "mentally confined, disabled, or experiencing mental anguish."

You can lead people prophetically.

God brought together a group of people to help David who were either in mental anguish or disability, being harassed for debts, or bitter and irritated … or any of the above. God used David to help these men by engaging them in service to others (for example: protecting Nabal and his livestock; fighting Israel's enemies). And, God used this band of men―a special group―to later help David obtain his rightful place, one for which God had already anointed him, as King of Israel.

David was a shepherd-warrior. As a teenager he had to fight a lion and a bear to protect his flock. I have met warriors in nomadic regions where I have ministered in Africa: the Turkana, Samburu, and Masei. I knew a 14 year old who became a warrior by killing a lion with his spear and knife.

A true shepherd is also a warrior. He or she must protect their flock. And, one way to do this is prophetically: by decreeing defeat and confusion into the ranks of the enemy … by decreeing in the Name of Jesus protection and blessing and success in the lives of your followers. But … learn, also, to decree international BIG THINGS that will be done through the POWER of the Holy Spirit: End-Time Spirit Invasions into nations and cultures.

Let God take care of the numbers.

Do NOT be concerned about the statistics. Just minister prophetically in the POWER of the Holy Spirit as God leads you. I think the greatest ministry we have many times is behind closed doors in our prayer closet. Our service engagements are actually forged in the future―in the foundry of the Holy Ghost―because of prayer and prophetic decrees. When I lived on the streets preaching in the open air I would always find a place to pray over a map of the world that I carried with me. I now have seven children, and my baby girl―at the age of four―would pray for nations on a map of the world on the floor, and weep tears while praying in tongues over the nations.

As I look back, almost ALL of the things I wanted to do for God have been accomplished … so I had to set new and higher goals. Some of the people I was able to help now have churches of 10,000. One young college student who used to come to my Bible Studies―and with whom I had the privilege of praying for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit (evidenced by speaking in tongues)―personally (NOT in group meetings) prayed with 170,336 people to receive Christ in 32 years. [He kept a diary.]

Go do what you have to do: serve whom … and where … you feel led to serve. Above all: be yourself. Do NOT fall prey to imitational faith.

Don't worry about your situation today.

God is forming a special "3-D Group" just for you: a special group to rule in His Kingdom. This special group of people will help YOU experience victory and will share with you in possessing the land. This will be a group of people who knows true leadership … and who realizes that ultimate direction, blessing, and protection come only from God.

They will have experienced these―direction, blessing, and protection―first hand in battle as you lead them. They will be driven into close fellowship with you as their leader in hard times … and they, like you, will never fall for "less than best" again!

You can serve others by getting them into the land and engaging their enemy.

Joshua was Moses' Chief Aide and military leader; he became Israel's leader after Moses' death. Joshua led the people across the Jordan and into the promised land.

Seven (7) nations were destroyed in the land. After the conquest of the land by the children of Israel, the land was divided among the tribes of Israel.

There were tremendous MIRACLES in Joshua's day:

The crossing of Jordan; The fall of Jericho; and, The sun standing still.

NOTE: All these miracles had to do with getting God's people into the land and driving out the enemy! They were involved in God's plan and purpose! If you're involved in God's PLAN and PURPOSE, God will do GREAT MIRACLES for and through you!

IF YOUR PLANS FIT INTO GOD'S PLANS YOU WILL HAVE GOD'S FAITH AND GOD'S FAITH ALWAYS WORKS

Remember: The KEY to the Old Testament: "A record of a nation designed to bring forth a Man (the Messiah of God)." The KEY of the New Testament is: "A record of a Man (the Messiah of God) designed to bring forth a nation (the people of God)."

"For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil." ‒ I John 3:8

Your job is the same as Joshua's. To go into new territory and conquer for the Lord; to destroy the works of the devil in the name of Messiah Jesus; and then to divide the land (inheritance) among God's people.

You might ask, "How do I divide the land among God's people?" Here's your answer, "By teaching them their authority in Christ―WHO they are in Christ and WHAT they have in Christ―by teaching them HOW you conquered, and sharing the blessings you have received, so they will know HOW to win!

To lead in service, seek God's advice and follow it: exactly!

Moses led over 3,000,000 people through the wilderness. Multiply the male census (603,550) by 2 (allowing each man a wife) = 1,200,000 and then figure 3 children (minimum) for every family (3 X 600,000 = 1,800,000). Whenever a major problem arose, he prayed and talked to God about it before he took action.

The one time he acted foolishly―when he did not take God's advice―cost him earthly blessings. He became angry so that he "hit" the rock instead of "speaking" to it. Forty years before, God had told him to HIT the rock and water would come out for the people to drink.

However, near the end of the wilderness wanderings, when the people were complaining over thirst again, God told him only to SPEAK to the rock and water would come out. Moses became angry and―even though the fault was with the people he was leading―the Bible says: "he spoke UNADVISEDLY with his lips". (He called them a bunch of rebels.) As a result, Moses was NOT allowed by God to go into the Promised Land. He went to Heaven but missed a great earthly reward. Read Exodus 17:1-7; Numbers 20:1-13; and Psalm 106:32-33.

Make sure YOUR PLAN fits into GOD'S PLAN. Seek God's advice and follow it: exactly! Teach people their authority in Christ. (Divide the land among God's people.) Send your followers out to do NEW works!

WARNING: If you're not sure, then don't.

As you move into the arena of service―and particularly as you start engaging needy people and needy areas with success―you will become a threat to the enemy. As communities and society witness your help, healing and deliverance of needy sectors, they will focus on your message of love and power through the Lord Jesus. This is when you need to be on guard concerning decision making. Do NOT make rash decisions. This is one of the greatest lessons I have learned in life. Stay in the "peace" zone.

When you feel pressured to do something―if you do NOT have peace about it―WAIT! Do NOT go forward. It is better to be in peace―to stay in the "peace zone"―than to go ahead … even if it looks good.

This can be a trick of the enemy to get you in bondage and mental duress. Pray about the situation. Do NOT let people―even friends―coerce you or persuade you to take action if you do not have peace about the situation.

I promised God one time that I would never do anything―or take action concerning anything―that I was NOT sure about. If I had a question about the situation, or if I did NOT have peace, I promised God that I would NOT go forward. The reason I made this promise to God was that I got into a very difficult, and emotionally trying, situation as a result of a speedy … or rash … decision.

Lots of times people are emotionally distressed because of such uncertain behavior: going ahead of God! Nothing can bind you if you will follow your heart and listen to God! And if you need some help with direction, here are some Scriptures for you:

Psalm 27:11 Jeremiah 42:3 I Kings 19:9-12 Isaiah 30:21

My friend, you can't meet every need on earth … but YOU can meet the ones God instructs you to meet. Stop … Look … Listen!

TRUE SPIRITUALITY IS SEEING A NEED AND MEETING IT

I received a phone call from my Jewish friend, Leon Brookes, asking me if I would consider teaching on the "Gifts of the Holy Spirit" to a large adult class where he was one of the leaders at the First Baptist Church in Downey, California, USA.

Leon told me they were studying "motivation" and he said the LORD had impressed him to invite me to share on the ministry of the Ruach Elohim (Spirit of God). I accepted the invitation and I remember clearly what I was thinking while sitting in the group area before I spoke.

Before I got up to teach, a member of the class had requested prayer for a young man who had been a youth pastor at the church years before and who had just been in a very serious auto accident in another state … and who was in a coma. (That's all they knew about the situation.)

Well, that got my attention. I then knew HOW the LORD wanted me to share about the Gifts of the Spirit. A few days before, I had been in a restaurant and overheard someone talking about the young pastor who was in the auto accident. They mentioned his name … but all they knew was that he was in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis – St. Paul) area of the United States (about 2,000 miles or 3,200 km away).

The morning AFTER hearing about the accident in the restaurant I was on my knees praying. Before I got up from praying, I was praying for the young man who I heard about being involved in the auto accident. All I knew was his name: Mark Shore. I asked the LORD to heal him―BUT THEN―the LORD instructed me to go call him and pray for him. God told me that He wanted to heal him. I said, "I don't know where he's at!" "I don't know how to find him." Then God told me, "Why don't you try?" "Why don't you give me the benefit of the doubt?"

I thought, "Well, he's supposed to be somewhere in the Twin Cities area back East, so I guess I can just call hospitals in the area." I got up and proceeded to call information for hospitals in that area. I think it was the second call I made that I found where Mark Shore was at. He had been in a coma, but when I called his room he was conscious. (His wife and child had died as a result of the accident as I remember.) When I talked to him (remember … we did NOT know each other), I read Psalm 116 to him, and prayed with him for his healing. I then gave him a prophecy about his future ministry. Then I hung up the phone.

So … back to the meeting where I was getting ready to speak. When they asked me to come up to speak I forgot all about the incident of calling Mark Shore and praying with him. I started sharing with the audience about HOW the Gifts of the Holy Spirit can motivate people to encourage others … and, also, HOW each of the nine gifts of the Spirit operates. [1 Corinthians 12:7-12]

Well … when I started to teach on how the gift of prophecy operates ... all of a sudden I remembered about Mark Shore―and when I prophesied to him on the phone a few days before―and then the explosion happened!

I told the audience, "As an example of HOW the gift of prophecy operates … a few days ago I was on my knees praying and the LORD instructed me to call a young man who used to minister here at your church and prophesy to him and pray for his healing." (I explained to them that I did NOT know him but had heard about him in passing conversation at a restaurant a few days before.)

I told the audience, "If you would like to contact him, he is in Ramsey Hospital, Room 650, Bed No. 2, in St. Paul, Minnesota." [Note: Ramsey Hospital is now Regions Hospital.] As soon as I said that, an anointing of healing broke out through the audience. One lady in the back stood up and said, "Fire just went through my body; I have been healed."

Many miracles happened during that service, and at the end, one of the other leaders asked me, "Will you please come to my house one night next week. We are having a meeting and would like you to share more about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit?" I said, "Yes" and made an appointment to meet with them at the home.

The next week at the Home Bible Study several people received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues with several other MIRACLES happening. However, the beautiful result was that the next Sunday evening at the First Baptist Church 125 people received Christ as their Saviour after hearing what the LORD had been doing in and through the congregation.

A few years later I was teaching at a Women's Conference in Ojai, California, USA. I don't remember what I was speaking about, but suddenly the Holy Spirit impressed me to share the testimony of when I had called Mark Shore and prayed for his healing and prophesied to him. It was the first―and only―time I had used his name (except at the First Baptist Church). A lady was so overcome by what I shared that after the meeting she told me the "rest of the story." As a result of being healed―and as a result of the prophecy I gave to Mark Shore―his mother-in-law was saved and then she became an international speaker for Christian Women's Events.

Obey God. Operate in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Give God the benefit of the doubt. You will help many people and see many MIRACLES!

A MESSAGE IN TONGUES

HERE IS THE INTERPRETATION OF THE ABOVE MESSAGE IN TONGUES

You have left much, but not all. Parts were taken, you did not leave them. I have seen the secret place―which no man knows! I will reward you!

HERE IS A PROPHECY TO ENCOURAGE YOU IN THAT WORK YOU WANT TO DO

I finished the work. I came to be wounded in combat. I shed my BLOOD and gave My life to HEAL the SEPARATION between God and man. I defeated the enemy. I bought you to God with My own blood. You now belong to God. You have My Word and the promises in My Word. You have the Holy Spirit: the Other One Who empowers you and guides you into all truth. You have resurrection power which assures your success, and even in failure restores you. You have My Name. Use My Name to vanquish the enemy and to obtain MIRACLES, resources, and joy. You have the ministry of the Holy Angels to help you and protect you. Fiinish the work I have assigned you: short term and long term. Be patient. Be at peace.

AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF SUCCESS IN YOUR NEW WORK FOR GOD IS THIS: CONDESCEND TO MEN OF LOW ESTATE

I was in a church one time which consistently does lots of good work to help homeless and disadvantaged people. However, after the service there were three homeless men sitting in the lobby at a table but nobody was talking to them. A friend asked me if I would sit with them and talk to them. I was very glad to do so and had a wonderful conversation with them. I wonder if lots of times we feel that just because we give money to charities or the homeless or other missions to indigent people that we are doing our duty. I wonder if we are really being a "friend to the friendless? People like to be recognized . . . and they like to feel accepted. "

"As you would like people to do to you, do exactly so to them." – Luke 6:31

The scripture which contains the words the LORD spoke to me is Romans 12:16: "Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits." The Greek word used here for "condescend" is the word "sunapago" and means "to take off together" ... that is, "transport with."

One time I was telling a friend, who is an executive pastor of a rapidly growing church, that I have about two inches of letters (not counting all the emails) requesting me to come hold seminars to train pastors and Christian workers and to hold miracle meetings. The other person told me: "You should get to know [name withheld] because he has lots of money." I thought to myself, "Why in the world do would I want to know someone just because they have money?"

Take a look at the several Bible versions I have listed below and see their translation and/or paraphrase of Romans 12:16, and what it means to "condescend to men of low estate."

New Jerusalem Bible "Give the same consideration to all others alike. Pay no regard to social standing, but meet humble people on their own terms." [Do not congratulate yourself on your own wisdom.] New American Bible "Have the same regard for one another, do not be haughty but associate with the lowly; do not be wise in your own estimation." Revised English Bible "Live in agreement with one another. Do not be proud, but be ready to mix with humble people. Do not keep thinking how wise you are." New Revised Standard Version "Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly. [Do not claim to be wiser than you are."

The Living Bible "Work happily together. Don't try to act big. Don't try to get into the good graces of important people, but enjoy the company of ordinary folks. And don't think you know it all." The Good News Bible "Have the same concern for everyone. Do not be proud, but accept humble duties [or make friends with humble people]. Do not think of yourselves as wise."

CHECK THIS OUT

I searched what different men of God in the past (and others) thought about this passage in Romans 12:16. I have listed them below.

"There is nothing that disrupts harmony as much as seeking glory, when every man detests a base estate, and ambitiously seeks to be exalted." [Geneva Bible Notes] "Be a companion of the humble, and pass through life with as little noise and show as possible. Let the poor, godly man be your chief companion; and learn from his humility and piety to be humble and godly." The term "sunapagomenoi," which we translate condescend, from "sun, together," and "apagw, to lead," signifies to be led, carried, or dragged away to prison with another; and points out the state in which the primitive Christians were despised and rejected of men, and often led forth to prison and death." [Adam Clarke's Commentary] "It does not properly mean to condescend, but denotes a yielding, or being guided and led in the thoughts, feelings, plans, by humble objects. Christians should seek the objects of interest and companionship not among the great, the rich, and the noble, but among the humble and the obscure. They should do it because their Master did it before them; because his friends are most commonly found among those in humble life; because Christianity prompts to benevolence, rather than to a fondness for pride and display; and because of the influence on the mind produced by an attempt to imitate the great, to seek the society of the rich, and to mingle with the scenes of gaiety, folly, and ambition." [Albert Barne's Commentary] "Sympathize and associate with the poor, humble, afflicted, especially such as suffer for righteousness' sake." [Family Bible Notes] "Desire not riches, honour, or the company of the great." [John Wesley] "Instead of seeking pre-eminence, we are to walk in lowly spirit like our Savior." [People's New Testament Commentary] "Be carried away with (borne along with) the lowly things" . . . or . . . "with lowly men." [Robertson's New Testament Word Pictures]

I trust today we will all reflect on how our LORD would have us to condescend to men of low estate, and pray that we might please Him in doing so . . . continuously. REMEMBER ... GOD IS FOR YOU Do not hesitate to BELIEVE BIG!

Go ahead and START that new work for God . . . for His glory!

When He (Yeshua) had given thanks, He broke it [the matzo] and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." 1 Corinthians 11:24 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

COMMUNION LOOKS BACKWARD

"In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." ‒ 1 Corinthians 11:25

During this last Passover supper with his talmidim (disciples) the Lord was instructing them to carry out this observance as a reminder that He was the real Passover Lamb. Looking back not only at the first Passover in Egypt, but more importantly, that He was the Passover who the next day would carry the sins of the world on the cross-stake. The New Covenant would be established and replace the Old when His blood would be shed.

THE NEW COVENANT

"Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

COMMUNION LOOKS FORWARD

"For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He returns." ‒ 1 Corinthians 11:26

The Lord told them He would NOT take part in this supper with them again until He returns to establish His Kingdom on earth.

"But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom." ‒ Matthew 26:29

COMMUNION LOOKS INWARD

"Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup." ‒ 1 Corinthians 11:27-28

MIRACLES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE HOLY COMMUNION WHEN THE PRESENCE OF CHRIST IS DISCERNED

"For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep [are dead]." ‒ 1 Corinthians 11:29-30

NOTICE

This passage is telling YOU that many people could have received their healing … but as a result of NOT discerning the Lord's body (not meditating on and thinking seriously about) Messiah's broken, beaten body AND His shed blood on the cross-stake … they did NOT appropriate healing. They continued in sickness or disease (even mental) … and some even died due to NOT discerning the Lord's body when they could have been healed! They did NOT take advantage of healing during the Lord's Supper!

WE SHOULD EXPECT MIRACLES DURING THE LORD'S SUPPER

I was invited by a well-known radio DJ in the Youngstown, Ohio USA area to preach at an outdoor meeting at Austintown Fitch Football Stadium. We had a crowd nearly the size of the Billy Graham Associates' previous meeting with virtually NO advertising other than Johnny's promos on his radio show. Johnny had recently been saved and enjoyed sharing his testimony on the radio. Johnny Kay was a super representative for Christ in his personal life as well as his public life as a DJ on radio.

Before the meeting started I was on the inside of the track praying. I noticed two men in wheelchairs on the other side of the track near the stands. I thought to myself, "I wonder what decision those men will make tonight?" When I gave the invitation, one of the men in wheelchairs, named Jim, rolled forward across the gravel track to the inside of the football field (or, was rolled forward) and made a decision to follow Christ. [Plus a long haired hippy counselor led seven (7) Roman Catholic Nuns to Christ.]

After the outdoor meeting at the Austintown Fitch Football Stadium I was conducting a seminar for two days for Dr. Len Evans (a Presbyterian pastor) at Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church in Niles, Ohio USA. At the end of the first day I asked for volunteers to fast with me for the next day's meeting as I was going to teach on healing. Several people fasted and in the last two hours of that next day I taught on healing.

The man named Jim who had come forward in his wheelchair was attending the seminar I was teaching. Jim had been in the wheelchair nine (9) years due to TWO conditions: 1. He had been in an auto accident where a semi-trailer truck ran into him and broke his spine in several places; and, 2. He had Multiple Sclerosis. During the last day of the seminar Jim walked out of his wheelchair (for the first time in 9 years) during Holy Communion.

During that seminar a well known band named "The Glass Harp" played for me with their leader, Phil Keaggy. They had just released an album titled "Synergy" (which was a tag for drugs); however, after they saw Jim walk out of his wheel chair they never played for the world again. Phil went on to be used in large music ministry festivals.

Two years later, Jim gave his testimony in a large Presbyterian church somewhere in the area and several hundred people fell out of the seats under the power of the Holy Spirit. Thanks to the provision―the opportunity―to receive HEALING and MIRACLES as we take part in the Lord's Supper … as we discern His body ,,, many people have received God's blessings. You can, too!

COMMUNION LOOKS OUTWARD

After Jesus was raised from the dead, and right before He ascended back into Heaven, He came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you [including the Lord's Supper, Holy Communion]; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

‒ Matthew 28:18-20

God's Kingdom is manifest on earth by YOU. You are His agent NOW. How BIG are your prayers? Are you including every nation, tribe and language? If you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, you have the POWER and AUTHORITY to bind and to loose inJesus' name. You have the power and authority―in Jesus' name―to operate in prophetic prayer. The Holy Spirit is always anointing the NEW ORDER: those who are operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and praying in tongues. You will NOT rifle through the demonic forces in the heavenlies if you do NOT know HOW to pray in tongues, the language of the Holy Spirit.

Do NOT be fooled. If you want to be on the "cutting edge" of contemporary works of the Holy Spirit, you need to operate in His Gifts and speak His language. Study this Model of Discipleship. One young man I prayed with for the Baptism in the Spirit, and later ordained into the ministry, personally led over 170,336 people to Messiah Jesus in (one-on-one) evangelism in 32 years! Read the influence Larry Beckmann had on those he discipled and the results of those he trained for the Lord.

If you are a musician or Psalmist, allow the Holy Spirit to anoint your music whether the form be classical, alt-rock, pop, country, blues, Hip Hop or Indie. People should be healed and experience MIRACLES while listening to Spirit anointed music. The Holy Spirit is God's Agent on earth to supply the resurrection power of Messiah Jesus!

HOW TO WIN OVER COVETING & LUST BED PARTNERS OF DESTRUCTION

"You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's." Torah: Exodus 20:17

"For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever." 1 John 2:16-17

Let's start with a couple of basic truths as follows:

Coveting is one root of moral failure.

Comparison is the root of coveting.

Let's look at some examples from the Holy Bible.

ACHAN

"But the children of Israel committed a trespass regarding the accursed things, for Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed things; so the anger of the Lord burned against the children of Israel."

The children of Israel had just experienced a tremendous victory at Jericho (their first battle after crossing the Jordan River into the Promised Land). They decided at their next battle, which would be at Ai, that they take lots less men to battle because they had learned from spies sent out that the people of Ai were few. However the Israelites suffered terrible defeat at Ai.

Joshua fell on his face and cried out to the LORD. God answered him, "For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff." "There is an accursed thing in your midst, O Israel; you cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the accursed thing from among you."

Joshua called out (through revelation) the tribes, families, clans and households in the camp of Israel. It was found that Achan had taken a beautiful Babylonian garment, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels and hid them in the ground in the middle of his tent. He had taken the "accursed things" that belonged to God. Notice that in the original Hebrew―and depending on the context―what is "devoted to God" is "accursed to man" when stolen from God.

So all Israel took Achan―with his sons, daughters, animals and tent … and the "accursed things" he had stolen―and burned them with fire after they had stoned them.

ACHAN LUSTED AND STOLE FROM GOD SOLDIERS & FAMILY DIED AS A RESULT ~ ~ ~ MESSIAH JESUS CAME TO GIVE US VICTORY IN PURPOSE

EVE AND ADAM

In the Garden of Eden, Eve was tempted by Satan. God had instructed Adam: "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." Satan tempted Eve to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which she did. "So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate."

NOTICE THIS: You can talk to God. He understands the situation. Ask Him for help. When you are tempted with coveting or lust, learn to say to the LORD, "Jesus, do you want to do this with me?" And, if you can't ask that question—or feel uncomfortable asking it—then you know NOT to perform the action.

Just because it feels good—or looks good—does NOT make it good. In Genesis 3:6 we read that Eve thought the fruit was:

Good for food

Appetite

Lust of the flesh

Pleasant to the eyes

Appeal

Lust of the eyes

Desired to make one wise

Applause

Pride of life

But in 1 John 2:16 we read that, "For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world." And in verse 17, "And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever."

EVE AND ADAM DISOBEYED GOD … OBEYED SATAN … AND PLUNGED THE WORLD INTO SIN, DEATH AND HELL ~ ~ ~ MESSIAH JESUS CAME TO HEAL THE SEPARATION

ANANIAS & SAPPHIRA

When the Holy Spirit was poured out on Jesus' followers—on the Jewish Holiday of Pentecost—the people in the Early Church decided to have all things in common and share their goods in community with one another. They were so happy that the promised Messiah had come to pay for their sins on the cross-stake and was raised from the dead after three days. They were ALL Jews who followed Him … plus maybe a few unkown Gentiles.

"Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need." (Acts 2:44)

"Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common." (Acts 4:32)

"Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles' feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need." (Acts 4:34-35)

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles' feet. But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God."

Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him. Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. And Peter answered her, "Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?" She said, "Yes, for so much." Then Peter said to her, "How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out." Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband. So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things.

Ananias and his wife, Sapphira, coveted the praise of others and fell prey to the pride of life. They wanted to compare themselves with the other believers—to be seen as sharing in like manner—while holding back part of the price of the land they sold. They did NOT even have to give the price of the land ...it was theirs … but they wanted to look like the others who were sharing 100% … and therefore they lied to the Holy Spirit.

ANANIAS AND HIS WIFE COVETED THE PRAISE OF MEN THEY DIED SPIRITUALLY AND PHYSICALLY ~ ~ ~ MESSIAH JESUS CAME TO HELP US BE GENEROUS

SUMMARY

It's easy to see that coveting and lust are bedpartners. It's also easy to discern that the antidote―basically, the solution―to COVETING is contentment.

"Now godliness with contentment is great gain." 1 Timothy 6:6

"Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have." For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

The other bedpartner―LUST―can actually be removed with a good dose of faithfulness and self-control.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Those who belong to Messiah have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited … envying one another." Galatians 5:22-26

Coveting and lust are basically stealing: wanting what is another's. There are, also, some other areas of coveting that are often overlooked.

Coveting can involve stealing from God. Stealing the glory―or the credit―that belongs to Him.

Lack of respect for your neighbor … or another person or entity.

Doing what Satan does: desiring to be like God. When Eve desired the fruit of the (forbidden) tree to make one wise, she was the same as attempting to sit in God's throne.

TAKE YOUR MEDICINE: Contentment is the antidote to coveting. Faithfulness and self-control are the antidote to lust.

REMEMBER:"You once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air,the [evil] spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience."Ephesians 2:2

THE KEY: When it comes to character, play offense!"Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill lust of flesh."Galatians 5:16

HELP FOR YOU: If you have NOT received the POWER to WIN over coveting and lust, Pray this prayer ... "Lord Jesus, I need help. I know you're there. Please save me and forgive my sins. Give me the POWER to walk in the Holy Spirit and to serve you here on earth. Take me to Heaven when I die. Thanks for hearing me!"
