A mother is often the greatest encouragement to a child but also needs encouragement. We all have days that we feel like failures. Looking at the way Jesus responds to Peter after the resurrection we see that Jesus does not focus on what we have done but on what we can become. Encouragement is helping people rise from their failures and showing the hope that lies ahead.
