Join us for our special "web edition" Resurrection Sunday service.
For Elijah, for Paul, and for us there is a need to know that you are not alone. We need to know and be reminded that God is at work when you do not see it and God is at work when you are not.
Join us as we explore Paul's heart for worshippers in Athens and his strategy to paint for them this beautiful picture of a God who is worthy of all praise.
We come to scripture to see God. God cannot be domesticated or clipped. We come to scripture to have more of God's glory and God's grace revealed to us. The Bible is not just for the transference of information but the transformation of our lives. If the Bible is our highest court of authority and should be the lens through which we see the world, how do we affirm what the Bible affirms and deny what the Bible denies?
What do you hope to gain in various areas of your life? What do you hope to gain that is going to give you motivation to go to work tomorrow morning when you alarm goes off? What do you hope to gain by going on that date, accepting that new position at work, going to the gym and pumping iron? What do we hope to gain through loss: What do you hope to gain by losing all that weight? What do you hope to gain through retiring? What do you hope to gain by getting free from behaviors or habits that are destructive in your life? Join us as we explore the idea of our hope for gain through loss, through worldly gain, and through Kingdom gain.
Like all of us, there are some parts of Timothy’s reputation that are not so desirable and our family reputation can hold some biases and even guilt and shame upon us depending on whether or not we break the mold. How do we view our reputation in light of the gospel and “become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some” (1 Corinthians 9:22)?
Have you ever wondered how churches can share the same orthodoxy yet have a different orthopraxy? (Same passages of the great commission yet different ways of pursuing it.) How do we make hard decisions as a group and individually? This passage is all about making hard decisions. Hard decisions as a group of believers and even a hard decision between friends and ministry leaders. Yet in our hard decisions God can give us the conviction to move to the places He wants us to go while still providing wisdom by the Spirit in order to keep us out of the “ditches.”
Listen in as we hear from Pastor Tom Sahlstrom who was a former Senior Pastor here at Princeton Free Church.
Who is on the throne of your life? God takes away or allows things to be taken away so how does this dynamic affect us from keeping God on the throne of our lives? Why should I keep God on the throne of my life when He gives or when He takes away? In this episode, we look to Paul's word of encouragement for answers.
