Welcome back to the PODCast!
In this week's episode, Travis and Josiah share some examples of when it might make sense to bring production in house. They even speak about some different products you can produce without a major financial investment. Some may never want to do this and stay with the POD dropship model, but for those looking to maximize profits, some of the ideas in this podcast could potentially help.
Plus, in this week's Point Of Interest, the guys share how Printful is lowering pricing for some of their DTG products, but raising the shipping on all DTG products. Kinda sneaky, but if you sell the main items they are decreasing, you could come out ahead.

In this week's episode, the guys discuss something that's been gaining all kinds of traction in the last few months - artificial intelligence. Whether AI is ethical or not is not going to keep it from influencing your business and frankly, your life. So it makes sense to better understand and potentially even use it to your advantage by combining it with automation. Included in this week's show are some automation examples and how Travis is using it to create bulk listings on various platforms.
Plus, in the week's Point of Interest, Travis gives an overview of Creative Fabrica and their new AI tool titled, "Spark."

Welcome back to the PODCast!
In this week's episode, Travis gets into the numbers and puts Josiah to sleep!
Well, not really. But kinda. The bottom line is that while the finances of your business can be a little boring, they're incredibly important. Your numbers are literally what keeps your business afloat. And if you've ever watched Shark Tank on ABC, you know that Mr. Wonderful eviscerates those who don't know them!
So how do you know if you're making money in your print on demand business?
Well, the guys don't claim to be geniuses about this topic, but they do share about a way that can help you know what you need each month to break even. And while that may not be the entire picture of your business' financials, it's a heck of a start!
Plus, in this week's Point Of Interest, the guys share a few fun summer holidays you can potentially target to create new designs and products. Check out NationalToday.com for some more ideas!

Welcome back to the PODCast!
On this week's episode, Josiah is finally back from Brazil so there's obviously going to be some stories shared! As far as print on demand goes, the guys spend some time sharing different hurdles that some may be facing as they get ready to jump into the world of POD. It's somewhat of a piggyback off of PODCast E136: The Downside of Print On Demand + Using ChatGPT and Canva Together - so get ready for some more downsides!
Obviously we're joking, but it's still important to understand what you're getting into when you decide to start a print on demand business.
Plus, in this week's Point Of Interest, Travis shares his "not so great" experience with the backend of Wayfair!

Who is Kaitlyn Lane and why is she our guest on this week's PODCast? That's a question that'll be answered pretty quickly as you start listening to this week's episode. Kait has been in the printing industry for 8 years now and has a passion that's undeniable. From retail custom t-shirts to a trophy shop to paper goods and jewelry, she's honestly done it all.
She offers a perspective on collaboration in our industry that's so refreshing - honest and not self serving. She simply wants to share what she's learned. Hopefully you can glean something from the show and make sure to reach out to her if you're looking for some help - she'll absolutely go above and beyond!

Welcome back to the PODCast!
In this week's episode, Travis and Josiah spend some time talking about the challenges of POD and some of the things people might not always talk about when promoting this "get rich quick" answer to all of your money problems. ;) The fact is, print on demand is not easy and there are things you should know before planning for your retirement. Competition and setting yourself apart from that competition is challenging unless you plan ahead for it. And that's just one of the issues the guys get into today.
Plus, in this week's Point Of Interest, Travis shares some interesting ways to utilize ChatGPT and Canva to mass produce designs for POD!

On this week's episode, Travis and Josiah have a chat with David from LAT Apparel. David was kind enough to share a Dad Joke with the guys at the ISS Long Beach trade show where they met. After speaking with David for a few minutes at the show, it occured them that it might make sense to have an apparel rep on the show to share about their job responsibilities and how we can take advantage of their product knowledge for our businesses.

Welcome back to the PODCast!
In this week's episode, Travis and Josiah have a chance to interview Lynn Burghardt, the President of Chipply. However, what the guys didn't know was that they'd actually get to learn about TWO businesses this week! Lynn is part of a 5th generation sporting goods retail store, Burghardt Sporting Goods in Wisconsin. While she no longer works for the retail store since starting Chipply, she has some great knowledge about the space.
Chipply was actually born out of a need for Burghardt to process their team store orders in a more efficient manner. It's a webstore builder that can be used by shops and dropshippers alike to create online stores for clients. Those clients share the store link with their audience and all the orders come into one place, allowing you to easily produce them or pass them along to your print partner. As you can tell from the interview, Lynn has a passion for Chipply and the print industry as a whole. It's a great listen and maybe will get you thinking of new ways to make sales.

Josiah and Travis are back for another educational and entertaining episode of everyone's favorite podcast that has Print on Demand in its name. ;)
Sublimation is one of the easiest processes to master if you're looking at taking some of your production in house and creating a bit more margin for your business. In fact, sublimating mugs is how both Travis and Josiah got started in Print on Demand! In this episode, the guys share all about how to sublimate a coffee mug and the steps you can take to execute the process effectively.
Plus, in this week's Point Of Interest, Travis gives a short tutorial on Kittl, an online graphics tool that allows you create incredibly detailed and quality designs online without the need of programs like Photoshop or Illustrator!
