On this weeks episode of Prior to the Snap, we take a different approach to the game of football as Mallory interviews the producer of Her Turf, Shantel Hansen. As an Anthropologist, Hansen's background in football has always been of a spectator, but in this short documentary, she follows three different female officials working their way up the ranks. We break down what the role of females look like in administering a game and what unique challenges they face. Females in sports, inspirations, future of different genders in football, and how important it is to share these women's stories are all topics expressed in this episode. Also, a teaser of next weeks guest might be dropped somewhere. Keep an ear out!
