"Always put your story first". 

I've never forgotten these words shared by one of my closest friends, Livi, a few years back. They landed so heavily because I have struggled so intimately with frequently placing myself in the supporting role in my relationships. Helping others is what I thrive on; however, there are days when I can barely get out of bed as I feel so drained.
