support this podcast. We have designed some great hoodies and shirts that displays the motto for A Prisoner’s Pardon and that is “I Rest My Case on Grace.” The meaning is everything is dependent on the grace of God and there’s nothing else that can solve whatever problem one may have. I have some exciting news! A Prisoner’s Pardon children’s book is coming out in two weeks just in time for Christmas. It’s called Pharoah’s Butler and Baker. It’s written for kids but has a message for all ages and that is to Rest Your Case on Grace. If you know the biblical account in Genesis, it’s based on the actual case of Joseph when he was imprisoned and interpreted the dreams of both the butler and the baker who were also in prison and tells the outcome of both their cases.
The reason for this book is to encourage fathers especially those who are or have been in prison to read to their children. A father bonding with their children is critical and the most important thing a father can do in life. This is just what I allude to in my upcoming memoir book A Prisoner’s Pardon. It’s one of the findings at least to the cause of why we have such a high rate of recidivism. It is also based on this case of Pharaoh’s Butler and Baker.
We don’t just talk about solutions, we here at A Prisoner’s Pardon take part bringing about the solution. The book A Prisoner’s Pardon is due out in Spring 2023 and let’s just say you will be amazed at the reasons and solution to recidivism.
If you haven’t already, please sign up for email. Sign up today at prisonerspardon.com. We will send out the link for purchase when it is available.
Thank you so much for supporting A Prisoner’s Pardon and all we do here.

Using the Art of Computer Programming to Address Prisoner’s with Mental Illness
Guest: Christopher Henningsen
Bio: Chris Henningsen is a computer programmer and author from the UK. Among some of his interests are linguistics and spiritual matters. His passion for linguistics helped him to notice a parallel between prison and programming which lead to him writing the book Mindful Programming. In his book, Chris uses computer programming as a metaphor to explore mental health.
Subject: Does your loved one or someone you know struggle with mental illness? Well mental illness is so prevalent in prisons that prisons are now known as “the new asylums”. For instance, the Los Angeles County Jail, New York’s Riker’s Island Jail and Chicago’s Cook County Jail each hold more mentally ill inmates than any psychiatric hospital in the US. The numbers are still growing. Christopher Henningsen will talk about How computer programming can be used to help prisoners who suffer from mental illness.

strategize ways to end recidivism (repeat offenses) and the fundamental thing
to do that is to work together with communities, local government and places of
faith. We’re doing something different today and that’s airing an event called

Faith & Blue Weekend is sponsored by FirstNet Built with AT&T and the
Motorola Solutions Foundation. During this weekend Law Enforcement
