Those of you in the nonprofit sector likely know Citizen Schools, a national education nonprofit that works primarily in low-income communities that need additional support and resources. They provide middle-school students with after-school programming that supports academic achievement while building important real-world learning experiences. Emily has been CEO since 2016, though has been there for 13 years. Beyond that, she continues her civic engagement by sitting on several national boards.

Gary leads community engagement and sustainability for Berkshire Bank and under his leadership, Berkshire has earned more than two dozen accolades for its work, recently highlighted by a 100% participation rate in its corporate volunteer program. Now that is a stat we can get behind! In his spare time, Gary serves on the board of America's Charities and IMPACT 2030 and partnered with Common Impact to design the first-ever skills-based citywide day of service in Fall 2018 in his hometown of Boston.
