We Started at Sierra at Tahoe. Now we are at Diamond Peak, talking with Paul Raymore, head of marketing and communications for Diamond Peak, the gem of Lake Tahoe. Paul has been to more World Cups (FIFA) than anyone I know in the soccer world. We talk about MLS and Seattle Sounders on the lift as well as what is going on at Diamond Peak. They have a new terrain park where people are sending it.

We start at Sierra at Tahoe and find steep and deep powder. We ski with Sarah Sherman and get the scoop on how they are getting new skiers and riders to the mountain. January 18th and 25th, they have a deal for rentals, lift tickets and a lesson for $79. This takes away everyone's excuse. We have an update on Sacramento Republic FC and the new signings on their team. We have two quick go-to recipes for "Chairlift Sliders" and Hot Toddy's. Patrick McLain, Keeper from Chicago Fire, Talks MLS Playoffs. Although, he wishes that the Fire were still in it, Patrick talks about who he thinks will claim the cup. Stephanie Tice Gives Soccer Advice. Stephanie teaches at Spotted Dog Yoga, In Folsom, CA, has recovered from her soccer injuries through her yoga practice and she gives advice to other players about what poses and habits of mind contribute to her success. Stephaine talks about the transformation that she wet through with yoga teacher training and how she applies her learning to her professional and personal life.

Sac Republic FC Beat Las Vegas Lights to clinch 2 Home Playoff games, provide they win, of course. We talk with Hayden Partain and Simon Elliott about playing out of their traditional roles. Partain plays more of an attacking midfielder and with Jeremy Hall out, he played a holding #6 position. He sheds light on playing a role that he does not often play and how he does it successfully. Simon Elliott gets cut off but he talks about Freddy Adu candidly and respectfully and praises him for his contributions. Sac go into the layoffs with a 9 game unbeaten streak.

Matias Almeyda scored massive goals for Inter, Lazio and Parma. Now, he is the new coach for the San Jose Earthquakes. What a step up! Good things are ahead! Sac Republic clinch a home game to start the playoffs on Oct 20th, against Reno 1868. It will be a grudge match. Elliott Hord is in top form and Simon Elliott talks about him and looking to the playoffs and what they need to work on.
