Mednow Inc CEO Karim Nassar joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with details of the healthcare technology company's fiscal second-quarter results that saw its revenue jump 1,400% year-over-year on the back of strong sales from the company's retail pharmacy segment.

Nassar telling Proactive that Mednow has continued to accelerate revenue, while enhancing its technology applications, growing its tuck-in acquisitions, and increasing its uniquely differentiated product offerings.

Nextech AR Solutions Corp. CEO Evan Gappelberg joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion to discuss the company's 2021 financial results, which show record revenue of $25.9 million, a 47% increase from the previous year.

Gappelberg telling Proactive that renewable software licenses rose 316% to $1.4 million over the year to December 31, 2021, as the metaverse company focuses on growing annual recurring revenue.

With new auditors and a new law firm behind it, Gappelberg said Nextech is now preparing for a Nasdaq uplisting.

Emotional Intelligence Ventures Founder and Chairman David Nikzad tells Proactive the botanical psychedelics-focused company is closing out its Reg A+ offering, where it will use proceeds to focus its efforts on PSLY.COM, 'a utopian space in the metaverse' as well as its psychedelics pipeline.

Nikzad says the group owns the 'second or third' biggest and most expensive parcel in the metaverse, where it is currently building an AR/VR platform. The group has raised over $25 milllion thus far.

Vivakor Inc CEO Matt Nicosia tells Proactive it has announced the completion of the design stages of its self-powered roadway sensors and the beginning of prototype stages.

The company is currently collaborating with TBT Group Inc. and the Center for Research and Education in Advanced Transportations Systems (CREATEs) at Rowan University to develop the sensors. The company said four types of smart road sensors have been designed.

Versus Systems Inc. CEO Matt Pierce tells Proactive that Animoca Brands, one of the largest and most visible blockchain gaming groups in the world, has made a strategic investment in the company by participating in its recent US$7 million public offering, which closed on February 28, 2022.

Animoca Brands is a global leader in digital entertainment, blockchain, and gamification that is driving digital property rights via non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and gaming to help build the open metaverse, Versus noted.

Crowd Media Holdings Limited CEO Idan Schmorak joined Proactive to discuss progress the artificial intelligence company has made with its Talking Head platform, a 3D conversational AI that would compete against the current standard of a text-only chatbot.

Schmorak says the group already has a South Africa-based medical technology client the group is already working with to provide this service, and says it continues to see demand from other verticals.

ESE Entertainment Inc CEO Konrad Wasiela tells Proactive it has signed a framework agreement with GP Metaverse, under which ESE will assist GP Metaverse, a collection of 10,000 unique race car NFTs (non-fungible tokens), with organizing simulation (sim) racing tournaments and events.

The collection will be distributed in four drops on the leading NFT marketplace, OpenSea, with the first drop of race car NFTs scheduled for March 19, 2022.

What's more, Wasiela also said its first quarter financials will be reported at thee end of March.

Bitcoin and Ethereum eased slightly but continued to hover around 3-week highs as investors stay cautious amid concern over the global economy and the war in Ukraine.

The largest token by market cap fell 0.38% to US$42,117 while Ethereum dropped 1.20% to US$2,956.

Bitcoin had dipped below US$42,000 before recovering above the key resistance level.

Ethereum spent most of the last 24 hours above US$3,000 before easing.

Information Services Corporation CEO Shawn Peters joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with details of the company's fourth-quarter and full-year 2021 financial results, which showed a big rise in revenue due to strong activity in the Saskatchewan real estate sector, which drove increased revenue in the Saskatchewan Land Registry.

Peters telling Proactive that ISC expects to see continued strength in 2022 across its two largest operating segments, Registry Operations and Services, with both benefitting from strong economic conditions in 2021, including an overall positive impact on transaction and seasonality trends during the pandemic.

Talon Metals Vice President of Geology Etienne Dinel joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has released more assay result from drilling at its Tamarack Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project in central Minnesota.

Dinel telling Proactive the new results from drilling outside the main resource area of the Tamarack are again showing shallow high-grade nickel-copper mineralization. That includes Drill hole 21TK0355 at 15.09 meters grading 4.88% Ni and 1.68% Cu (5.96% NiEq1, 15.89% CuEq2).
