Fathom Nickel CEO Ian Fraser joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share important updates regarding the completion of the Fall 2023 drill program at the Gochager Lake deposit within the Gochager Lake Project.
Fraser announced that the drill program successfully concluded with seven drillholes completed, totaling 2,168 meters in length. Notably, semi-massive and massive sulphides were intersected in two of the holes, effectively extending the nickel-copper-cobalt mineralization that was previously intersected in drillhole GL23003, both up and down plunge.
Additionally, the results revealed two strong off-hole BHEM (Down-Hole Electromagnetic) anomalies associated with favorable host rocks encountered in drillhole GL23011, situated approximately 400 meters northeast of the Gochager Lake deposit.
The company is eagerly anticipating the receipt of assay results, which are expected within the next four to five weeks. During this time, Fathom Nickel will continue to model BHEM and surface geophysics results, aiming to further refine its understanding of the deposit.
Fathom Nickel also plans to release the results of the BHEM survey analysis in the coming weeks, providing stakeholders with comprehensive insights into the project's progress and potential. These developments signify significant strides in advancing the Gochager Lake Project and further solidify Fathom Nickel's commitment to resource exploration and discovery.
