TRX Gold CEO Stephen Mullowney joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has released new preliminary data from bulk sample testing at the Buckreef Gold mine. Over 6,500 tonnes of sulphide ore have been put through Buckreef Gold’s existing milling facility.

Mullowney telling Proactive the results so far have been good with gold recovery of 88.7%. The company says this very significant considering 90% of Gold at Buckreef is held in sulphide material. The Company has also recently completed an upgrade to its crushing system which has contributed to the successful recovery rates.

Mullowney also shared with Proactive a preview of the company’s Q3 financial results which looks is heading towards production of 4,764 ounces of gold and sales of 4,810 ounces of gold. Financial numbers are expected to be released in July.

MTB Minerals CEO Lawrence Roulston joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share the company has started its field work at the Telegraph porphyry copper-gold project in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. The plan for the first phase of this program will be aimed at more precisely defining the targets for an initial drill plan.

Roulston telling Proactive data from this program and work done last year will help narrow down key targets on this 310 sq km property. The company does have primary drill targets with other targets ready for an initial drill test. The field work is expected to last until the beginning of drilling in August. The drilling will last well into the fall.

NV Gold Corp Chairman John Watson joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has put a wrap on its drilling program Triple T Project in Nevada. The company was able to complete 720 metres of Reverse Circulation drilling in 14 shallow drill-holes in three target areas.

Watson telling Proactive the drillers Intersected several near-surface mineralized quartz veins. The project’s North Target area now measures 200 by 500 meters and remains open to the north and south as well as down-dip to the east. Full Assay results are expected in early August.
