There’s some potentially good news out of the northeast this morning as Australian firm Recharge has announced it will buy UK battery startup Britishvolt. The deal if finalised would revive plans for a £3.8bn Gigafactory in the region.
Guinness owner Diageo has confirmed the terms of a partial tender to increase its stake in Nairobi-based East African Breweries. The spirit company will up its holding to a maximum of 65%.
And in small caps, Bradda Head Lithium is reporting “significant” high-grade lithium-bearing intercepts at multiple locations at the San Domingo pegmatite in Arizona.
Andrada Mining has upgraded the mineral resource estimate at its Uis Mine in Namibia by 30%, and research group hVIVO has announced its second contract win of the year in Asia-Pacific.
