Welcome to the "Let's Talk About Sex...Trafficking" Podcast where you will learn how to spot, report, and prevent trafficking. Every week you will hear our guests share real facts, real stories, and real ways you can help eradicate trafficking in the United States by 2030. This week Safe House Project co-founders, Brittany Dunn& Kristi Wells, are joined by Dan Black, a problem solver, puzzle master, father, husband, and Safe House Project strategist.
Dan's a teacher and business builder at his core. It’s an odd combination, he admits, but all business development activities contain a component of education. Educate leadership on why a direction is necessary, sales teams on how to improve performance, customers on the value of a product or service just to name a few common examples. In both his work and personal endeavors building the business through learning is what gets him up in the morning, regardless of what “the business” is.
Dan's personal reason for helping educate people on trafficking is to protect his family. His wife of 20 years, Blair, remains his #1 customer and key stakeholder where he endeavors to improve as husband and friend. He serves two young customers M (12) and S (9). He's learned a lot from these two as the teacher in the multi-facet, ever-changing role of a modern-day Father. Dan also serves his community through charitable activities, school involvement, volunteer work, coaching and participation on boards lending his talents to make the world a little better.
