I cannot tell you how excited I am to share this week's episode with you. I've been dying to release it from the moment we finished the conversation.
The guest of the show this week is Ann-Marie Duchêne who is my body worker who specializes in structural integration via fascial release (her specific schooling is called Hellerwork which we get into in the show). She spent the first 10 years of her career traveling the world for Cirque du Soleil as their first-ever Dance Specialist Artistic Talent Scout - scouting the globe for the best dance/vocal/music/clowning talent on the planet before embarking on her unprecedented career pivot into structural integration work and has been practicing and perfecting her craft for the past 20 years.
In this episode we're getting into what processing in and through the body actually even means, what structural integration work is exactly, how to tune into our bodily cues, how everything in the body (and beyond) is interconnected and the role that fascia, which is our connective tissue that is the layer right beneath our skin, plays in the communication within the body.
