God has promised to give us peace. No matter what situation we are faced with, God has told us that he will give us his perfect peace. When the storms of life are raging, we can count on God to say “peace, be still!” God is a promise keeper! 

 Giving thanks ONLY on Thanksgiving Day is not enough! We must thank God for everything, every day. We are blessed with so many big and little things that we often overlook. In this episode, we will examine the proper spirit of gratitude. Let’s talk about it!

 There are many who want to be saved. They want to be born again. They want to become children of God. However, they hold back because they believe it is too complicated. They believe that they are not ready to be saved. They believe that there are too many hoops that they must jump through.  2 Timothy 2:15 instructs us to “study to show ourselves approved.” Today, we will discuss the reasons why we must study the Bible as well as give practical lessons on how to do it more effectively. God willing, this episode will help and inspire all of us to spend more time in the Word. 

 We want all of our prayers to be answered. If there is anything that might get in the way of our prayers, we want it fixed. Jesus said that everything is possible for one who believes. Sometimes, our lack of faith keep our prayers from being answered. Let’s enjoy the benefits of increasing our faith!

 What should we do when we face seemingly hopeless situations? There is an old and popular hymn that states, “My hopes are built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.” Jesus is our hope. If we trust him and place our hope in him everything will work out in accordance with his will.

 Many classes that we take are graded with a Pass/Fail system. That means we do not receive the regular A through F grades - we either pass or fail. Once we have been saved by accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior, we receive a “Pass” to enter Heaven. However, we will still stand before Jesus to be evaluated on how obedient we have been to our calling as Christians. Are you prepared for your final evaluation? 

 No matter what we are going through or what storms we are facing, God is always with us. He has promised that he will supply all our needs in Christ Jesus. So, whether we have plenty or little, we can rely on God to give us a spirit of contentment.
