  • When The World Feels Out Of Control

When the world feels overwhelmed by war, crime, violence, storms, and uncertainty, it can be easy to wonder whether anyone is truly in control. But Scripture gives us a firm and comforting answer: God is still in control.

In this episode of Proclamation Station, we reflect on the sovereignty of God and the assurance that His purpose will stand. Kings rise and fall, nations change, storms come, and evil may seem loud for a season, but God has not surrendered His authority. He rules over creation, history, rulers, circumstances, and the final outcome of all things.

This message reminds us that what we see around us is not the end of the story. Jesus has all authority, God’s purposes cannot be overthrown, and believers can continue to pray, trust, and hold on to hope even in troubled times.

This episode encourages us to rest in God’s sovereignty, trust Jesus’ authority, and believe that even when life is painful or confusing, God is working for the good of those who love Him. Listen now and be reminded that when the world feels out of control, God is still on the throne.

  • Are You Studying to be Approved?

In this episode of Proclamation Station, we take a spiritual “midterm exam” and ask an honest question: are we truly studying the Bible to show ourselves approved unto God? Second Timothy 2:15 reminds us to be workers who do not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

This message challenges us to look at how we spend our time, what we value most, and whether Scripture is shaping our hearts, decisions, and daily lives. The Bible is more than a book on a shelf. It teaches, corrects, strengthens, guides, and equips us for the life God has called us to live.

We also reflect on the help God has given us through the Holy Spirit, who teaches us and brings God’s Word to our remembrance. Whether we are new believers or longtime students of Scripture, we are all still learning, growing, and needing God’s guidance.

This episode invites us to renew our commitment to Bible study, spiritual growth, and hiding God’s Word in our hearts. Listen now and be encouraged to read, study, memorize, and live by the Word of God.

  • Did Jesus Promise We Would Be Rich?

Does following Jesus mean we are promised earthly wealth? Many believers trust God to answer prayer, provide for their needs, and bless His people. But does that mean every Christian should expect to be rich?

In this episode of Proclamation Station, we examine what Jesus and the Apostle Paul teach about faith and money, Christian contentment, and God’s provision. Scripture teaches us to store up treasures in heaven, guard our hearts against greed, and remember that life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.

This episode pushes back against the idea that weak faith is the reason a believer is not wealthy. Jesus never promised a trouble-free life or guaranteed earthly riches, but He did promise peace, strength, eternal life, and the presence of God through every season.

Together, we reflect on the difference between trusting God to meet our needs and assuming God has promised to make us rich. Listen now and be encouraged to seek heavenly treasure, live with contentment, and rest in the faithful provision of Christ.

  • Don't Look Back When God Says Go

What do you do when God tells you to move forward, but something behind you keeps pulling at your heart?

In this episode of Proclamation Station, we reflect on the danger of looking back when God has called us to move forward in obedience. The Bible gives us sobering examples: Lot’s wife looked back after being told to flee, the children of Israel longed for Egypt after God delivered them from slavery, and Jesus warned that those who follow Him must not keep looking back while trying to serve in God’s kingdom.

These accounts remind us that obedience is not only about leaving a place physically. It is also about letting go in our hearts. Sometimes God delivers us from something, but our memory, comfort, fear, or desire tries to pull us back.

This episode encourages believers to trust God’s direction, keep moving when He says go, and press forward toward the prize He has set before us in Christ. Listen now and be encouraged to stop looking back, follow where God leads, and keep pressing forward in faith.

  • Communion: In Remembrance of Me

What do you think about when you come to the Lord’s Table? Do you reflect on the body and blood of Jesus, His sacrifice on the cross, and the promise of His return? Or has communion become so familiar that its meaning can sometimes be overlooked?

In this episode of Proclamation Station, we reflect on ***Communion***, ***the Lord’s Supper***, and Jesus’ command: ***“Do this in remembrance of Me.”*** Through 1 Corinthians 11:23–26, we examine communion as a memorial meal that has endured for more than 2,000 years, reminding believers of what Jesus did, who Jesus is, and what we can look forward to through Him.

Together, we discuss how communion points us back to the miracles, ministry, suffering, death, resurrection, and promised return of Christ. The broken bread reminds us of His body given for us, and the cup reminds us of His blood, which sealed the new covenant and still has power to save, strengthen, and set us free.

This episode invites us to approach communion with reverence, gratitude, remembrance, and hope. Listen now and be encouraged to remember the love of Christ, the power of His sacrifice, and the freedom found in the One who said, “Do this in remembrance of Me.”

  • When Hymns Carry Us Through

The Word of God is essential for salvation, strength, and sound living. We should all strive to memorize Scripture, but many of us know what it feels like to struggle to recall the right verse in the moment we need it most. Thankfully, God has also blessed us with hymns and songs of faith that can rise up in our hearts when trouble comes.

In this episode of Proclamation Station, we reflect on ***the power of hymns***, ***Christian worship songs***, and ***songs of faith in hard times***. From Paul and Silas praying and singing hymns in prison in Acts 16 to the spirituals, hymns, and gospel songs that have strengthened generations of believers, we consider how music can help us remember God’s truth, encourage others, and draw closer to the Lord.

Together, we discuss why hymns matter, how songs of praise can carry us through difficult seasons, and why worship remains a blessing even as styles, hymnals, and traditions change. Our way of worship may change over time, but the God we worship remains the same.

Listen now and be encouraged to remember the songs that strengthen your soul and point you back to Him.

  • Wives, Stay Close to God

No marriage is perfect, and every husband and wife has faults. But when home becomes difficult, painful, or unsafe, wives must remember this truth: never let a bad situation separate you from God.

In this episode of Proclamation Station, we look at biblical wisdom for wives through the lives of Sarah, Zipporah, and Abigail—three women who faced difficult situations connected to the choices and actions of their husbands. Their stories remind us that God sees women, values women, protects women, and gives strength and wisdom in hard places.

Together, we discuss Sarah’s painful experiences with Abraham, Zipporah’s courage when Moses failed to obey God’s command, and Abigail’s wisdom when Nabal’s foolishness placed his household in danger. Through their examples, we are reminded that beauty, wealth, and status are not enough to protect a woman, but faith, courage, wisdom, godly support, and dependence on the Lord can help her respond with strength.

We also speak clearly to women facing dangerous domestic situations: get help and get to safety. God does not call His daughters to remain in harm’s way. Whether the struggle is emotional, physical, or spiritual, wives are encouraged to draw closer to God, seek wise help, and remember that they are valued by Him.

Listen now and be encouraged to stay close to God, walk in wisdom, and trust the Lord for strength in difficult places.

  • Frederick Douglass and the Fourth of July

As the nation marks 250 years since the Declaration of Independence, this episode of Proclamation Station takes time to reflect on a powerful question raised by Reverend Frederick Douglass: “What to the Slave Is the Fourth of July?”

Frederick Douglass was not only a world-renowned abolitionist, speaker, and author; he was also a licensed minister whose Christian convictions shaped his bold opposition to slavery. In his 1852 speech and in the appendix to his autobiography, Douglass exposed the wide gap between the pure Christianity of Jesus Christ and the hypocritical Christianity used to defend slavery in America.

In this episode, we examine Frederick Douglass and the Fourth of July, What to the Slave Is the Fourth of July, and the biblical call to reject oppression, hypocrisy, and false religion. We also reflect on the sobering truth behind the phrase “not 250, but 161”: while America may celebrate 250 years of national independence in 2026, descendants of enslaved African Americans can only point to 161 years of legal freedom at best, beginning with the adoption of the 13th Amendment in 1865.

Together, we consider Douglass’s Christian perspective, his critique of slaveholding religion, and his conviction that the true Gospel of Jesus Christ could never support the buying, selling, or oppression of human beings.

Listen now and join us for a thoughtful reflection on freedom, faith, history, and the Christianity of Christ.

  • Husbands, Love Your Wives Like Christ

Husbands, God has called us to love our wives with a love that reflects the love of Christ. In Ephesians 5, husbands are commanded to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her. That kind of love is patient, kind, forgiving, sacrificial, and committed to peace.

In this episode of Proclamation Station, we discuss how husbands can reduce and prayerfully eliminate unnecessary arguments in the home by learning to listen carefully, speak gently, control the tongue, and treat their wives with kindness and respect. Scripture reminds us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, because a harsh word can stir up conflict, but a gentle answer can turn away wrath.

Together, we look at ***Christian marriage*** through the biblical command for ***husbands to love their wives*** as Christ loved the church. Through passages such as Ephesians 5, 1 Corinthians 13, James 1:19, Colossians 3:19, Proverbs 15:1, and 1 Peter 3:7, we consider practical ***biblical marriage advice*** for husbands who want to stop unnecessary arguing and help build a peaceful, Christ-centered home.

Listen now and be encouraged to love your wife like Christ, guard your words, and build a home marked by grace, respect, and peace.

  • What Made The Prodigal Son’s Father Great

Happy Father's Day to all fathers and father figures. Today we honor the men who have loved, guided, protected, provided for, and cared for the families entrusted to them. While there is no perfect manual for fatherhood, Jesus gave us a powerful example in the parable of the Prodigal Son.

In this episode of Proclamation Station, we take a closer look at the father in Luke 15 and explore the qualities that made him truly great. He allowed his younger son to learn difficult lessons through the consequences of his choices, yet he never stopped loving him. When his son returned home in repentance, the father responded with compassion, forgiveness, restoration, and grace. He also lovingly corrected his older son, teaching him the importance of mercy, forgiveness, and reconciliation.

Together, we discuss wisdom, stewardship, repentance, forgiveness, family restoration, and the powerful love that reflects the heart of our Heavenly Father. We also examine how both sons needed guidance and healing, and how the father's response provides a model for families today.

Listen now and discover what made the Prodigal Son's father great—and what fathers, families, and believers can learn from his example.
