On our 14th episode, we have our very good friends Gino Jose and Maqui Farr who both recently migrated to the US a few years back. Gino and Maqui talk about how they got started in production with Gino being behind the cameras and Maqui being in front of it. Gino discusses what he enjoys about the process in prod work and talks about his short films Basaan and Waivers from a few years back. Maqui, being a performer and actress in Manila, had to adapt to her new surroundings in the US where she now also works behind the cameras. They both also discuss the major differences in working in production in the US compared to the Philippines. 

On our 13th episode, we have Harold Soon, our go-to director in most, if not all, of our beauty and lifestyle-related commercials. Harold talks about being a late bloomer in the production world, having discovered it only in his senior year in college. The goal-oriented director also talks about rising up the ranks, from apprenticing for Marie Jamora to being part of the art department to eventually being an assistant director and finally a director. We also get into the sacrifices and balances he makes working in production as a Chinoy. Lastly, Harold shares his experiences in commercial directing and gives some tips on how to pitch to potential clients. 

On our 12th episode, we have Allison Barretto & Bob Guariña of the very successful YouTube channel Rec•Create! They talk about how their channel was conceptualized and the challenges of keeping it sustainable in the long run. They also talk about having a stand on topics they cover in their videos. The two also discuss market saturation of online videos and the shared audiences of the digital space. Finally, we also talk about the realities of earning as a creator on YouTube. 

On our 11th episode, we talk to screenwriter Jen Chuaunsu, whose credits include Sleepless, Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B, and most recently, Isa Pa with Feelings. Jen shares how she got into the industry as well as how watching good movies motivates her to write. She also discusses how she writes complex, three-dimensional women characters in her screenplays. Jen takes us through her writing process, her love of books, and one very funny story of observing an arguing couple. 

On our tenth episode, we switch it up a bit as we talk to Ateneo de Manila University's film org: Loyola Film Circle. Andie Bernas, Lorenzo Tan, and Josh Deveras talk about how holistic a student org the LFC is, from creating films to hosting film screenings and facilitating workshops with local industry professionals. On our ninth episode, we talk to cinematographer Tey Clamor, who's worked on films like Sleepless, Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B, and more recently, Isa Pa With Feelings and Metamorphosis. Tey talks about how she got into film early on and how working in other areas in production led her to realize her passion for cinematography. She also talks about the challenges she faced in her early years in the industry and how close collaboration with directors and other members of the team helps her achieve her vision. Tey also discusses the visual design decision of the moving aspect ratio she made for her more recent work Metamorphosis. Lastly, we also get into her passion for underwater cinematography. 

On our eighth episode, we talk to Ice Idanan, cinematographer and director of films like Sakaling Hindi Makarating and Cara x Jagger. We talk about how she got started in the film industry and how she worked her way from being a production manager to a cinematographer to a director. Ice also talks about how it's like working as both the DOP and director at the same time. As a DOP, Ice lights from her heart and her feelings and she tells us about it. She also tells us a fantastic story about working with Cherry Pie Picache for her thesis film Limang libo. Finally, we talk about how it was and is for Ice being a woman in a predominantly male industry and the importance of dealing and working with people.

On our seventh episode, we have our very own Prime Cruz, director of Sleepless, Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B, and most recently, Isa Pa, With Feelings. Prime talks about how encountering a group of deaf people led to him pitching Isa Pa, With Feelings. (**Some spoilers for that movie here**) Prime also talks about getting into film in college and his desire to be cool and how it led to him making films. Prime also shares his beginnings in the production business and how being let go from his TV job and attending Jun Lana's Cinepanulat workshop among other things led to his first film Sleepless. Lastly, Prime also gives his thoughts on why filmmaking is like sex and how he likes to explore the details in characters' psyche in his films. 

On our sixth episode, we have Nestor Abrogena, the production designer for such films like Sleepless, Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B, and most recently, Isa Pa, With Feelings. Nestor talks about how he got into film coming from studying engineering in college. At the same time, Nestor also talks about how he's sometimes cast as an actor for bit roles and bigger roles. Even with all that, he still finds production design as his main craft. Nestor also talks about the collaborative processes and huge challenges of doing design work for the various films he's done especially for Isa Pa, With Feelings. (SPOILER ALERT for those who haven't seen it.). Finally, Nestor also talks about being a director with his first film Ang Kuwento Nating Dalawa and how it was supposed to just be a short film but later snowballed to a full length film. 

On our fifth episode, we have Pong Ignacio, cinematographer for numerous notable films like Heneral Luna [2015], Liway [2018], and Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral [2018]. Pong talks about how he got started in college being a student of Quark Henares and Marilou Diaz-Abaya and how that eventually led to their group Prod Madnezz and their crazy fun Halloween parties. Pong talks about the ups and downs of prod life and having a good support system in it. Pong also talks about prepping and shooting Goyo up on the mountains during rainy season. Pong loves being on set and loves the leadership role that he has with his crew. We also talk about how creative choices are taken because it communicates something intended by the creator. And lastly, we talk about his work-life balance and doing things not for yourself.
