Prodigious Saps episodes
- Episode 76: Say you can make ANY superhero movie. What's it going to be?
Which overlooked comic-book characters would we bring to the screen, and what would we do with them? Chad makes the case for Firestorm and the Legion of Super-Heroes, while Brendan digs through decades of unproduced pitches and screenplays involving Zatanna, Captain Marvel (never Shazam), Hourman, Longshot, Adam Strange, Starman and more.
Who would YOU like to see adapted to the big (or small) screen?

https://meetthemonsters.podbean.com/27 min - Episode 69: Let's talk about BATMAN RETURNS (1992)In this episode, we revisit BATMAN RETURNS, one of the strangest major comic-book movies ever made. We talk Tim Burton’s over-the-top visual style, the movie’s tangled plot, Michael Keaton’s sidelined Batman, Michelle Pfeiffer’s unforgettable Catwoman, Danny DeVito’s grotesque Penguin, and Christopher Walken stealing scenes as Max Shreck. Messy, kinky, funny, stylish, and very Burton.
