Another installment of following a podcast producer’s career path: Toby McMullen is a comedian and producer for the incredible podcast “Are You Garbage” hosted by Kevin Ryan and H. Foley. He talks about how he decided to choose producing podcasts as a career. Toby described his journey from living in Chicago to moving to New York and making content for Andrew Schulz. He then goes on to share how he got started with the AYG boys, going on tours, evolving the podcast set, and building out other sets for notable people like Ari Shaffir’s “You Be Trippin.” We discuss some of our favorite equipment we’ve encountered along our careers and pepper in advice for any and all up and coming podcast producers.
