  • Special Lines in Triangles: Bisectors, Medians, and Altitudes

What's a median? Or an altitude? They are special lines you can make with a triangle. And what's a circumcenter, or a centroid, or an orthocenter? These are some special points that relate to triangles. Not every geometry course covers this terminology, but it's super interesting, so take a look!

  • Quasi-Linear First-Order Partial Differential Equations: Lagrange’s Method

Now that we know what partial differential equations are, let's learn how to solve them! Let's start with something simple, quasi-linear first-order PDEs. That may sound like a mouthful, but it's not too tricky, at least compared with some of the equations we will be dealing with a bit later. This will involve utilizing something called Lagrange's method. Take a look!

  • Linear First-Order Differential Equations

We just got our feet wet with separable differential equations, so now let's look at something slightly trickier. Solving linear first-order differential equations will require a little bit more effort, involving something called an integrating factor. Let's see how this works with a few examples.

  • Greatest Common Factor (GCF)

We learned a neat trick for how to quickly get the least common multiple of two numbers, so let's find a similarly easy way to find the greatest common factor of two numbers. Again it involves prime factorization, which of course everyone enjoys.

  • Ancient Greece Part 3: Hellenistic Greece (300 – 50 BCE)

While many people consider only Classical Greece, the Hellenistic period that followed was no less eventful or influential. This was the era in which Macedonia came to dominate the Greek mainland, and Alexander the Great conquered a huge empire spanning all the way to India. How was this Hellenistic empire governed, and by whom? Let's take a look!

  • The Tale of Trump and the Woke Trans Mice

It's time to start talking about Trump and his war on science. The budget cuts to the NIH have absolutely devastated the scientific community. When addressing Congress last week, with the help of DOGE crony Elon Musk, he made a claim that Biden spent 8 million dollars on making trans mice. This claim is so unbelievably idiotic that it's a challenge to even process. But the best thing to do is to dig into each and every single study that he was referencing and show you what they're really about, so you can see what a complete and utter moron Trump is, along with everyone in his corner. Come on, it'll be fun! I promise.

Thanks to Zachary Payne for assisting in the research/writing that went towards making this video.

  • Least Common Multiple (LCM)

Being able to find the least common multiple of two numbers is very useful, as it will allow us to add and subtract fractions, and do all kinds of other cool things. One way is to list all the multiples and look at the lists, but this gets tricky as numbers get bigger, so learn a neat trick for how to do this quickly!

  • Anticoagulants: Types and Mechanism of Action

With anti-platelets covered, it's time to look at a related class of drugs, anticoagulants. These also influence blood clot generation but through different pathways. These target the generation of fibrin and thrombin from their precursors, fibrinogen and prothrombin. This will require learning about the very complicated clotting factor cascade, so let's get to it!

  • Theoretical Probability, Permutations and Combinations

What are the odds when you play the lottery? When you bet on a horse race? When you flip a coin? That you'll have a good day today? Some of these are simple questions. Some, more difficult. But most events involve probabilities that can be assessed and quantified. Let's look at a few, starting with easy ones, and then trickier ones, while defining permutations and combinations along the way!
